The characters in Chainsaw Man are both unique and formidable. The idea of fears being personified as Devils and their strength being determined by the intensity of that fear is rather unusual. Therefore, when the series first began, we were introduced to the fundamental Devils.
Similarly, the concept of Quirks in My Hero Academia is also noteworthy. One of Kohei Horikoshi’s most remarkable characters is All For One (AFO), who possesses the ability to steal and create Quirks, giving him endless possibilities. However, what occurs when AFO encounters the unconventional characters from Chainsaw Man? Below is a compilation of Chainsaw Man characters who have the potential to defeat AFO in a battle.

Chainsaw Man Characters Who Can Defeat My Hero Academia’s All For One
Chainsaw Man (full power)
The main character of the titular series, Chainsaw Man, starts off this list of characters. As the series has progressed, this character has become well-known and needs no introduction. While we have only seen his true form a few times, these instances were sufficient to demonstrate why he was so feared among Devils.
Despite facing challenges from powerful foes, Chainsaw Man’s Devil Erasure ability remains unrivaled in the Chainsaw Man universe thanks to its enhanced speed, strength, durability, and healing. In a confrontation with AFO, Chainsaw Man’s true form would persistently attack until emerging victorious, a testament to the impressive capabilities of his abilities showcased throughout the series.
The Hero of Hell’s powers are too formidable to be suppressed, and any Quirk used by AFO will likely prove ineffective against them.
Running away
Makima, the antagonist of the Public Safety Saga, is another Chainsaw Man character who is capable of defeating AFO. Despite her orange-haired appearance, she proves the saying “looks can be deceiving.”While she may seem calm, kind, and gentle on the surface, her true nature is sly, calculating, and manipulative.
Her determination knows no bounds when it comes to achieving her desires, and she sees others as nothing more than pawns or playthings for her entertainment. While her full range of abilities remains a mystery, the glimpses we’ve seen of her powers demonstrate just how formidable she truly is. With her sharp intellect and Control Devil abilities, such as Force Manipulation and Control, she is a formidable adversary. Additionally, she possesses impressive physical prowess, honed from a young age through rigorous training.
Chinese Philosophy: Quanxi
Including Quanxi, known as “The First Devil Hunter,”on this list of Chainsaw Man characters is essential. As a beloved character among fans, Quanxi was initially introduced during the International Assassins Arc and has since made appearances in later arcs. Her remarkable abilities as a Devil Hunter undoubtedly justify her title.
However, her physical enhancements and mastery of sword fighting are not her only strengths. She is also a Bow Hybrid, imbued with the abilities of the Bow Devil. In this state, she wields incredibly powerful crossbows that can easily pierce and eliminate any foe. With such formidable skills, AFO would undoubtedly find it challenging to land a decisive blow. And even in the event of her defeat, her Hybrid powers would ensure her resurrection.
Asa Mitaka/Yoru
Recently introduced and quickly rising in popularity, Asa Mitaka/Yoru have earned a spot on this list of Chainsaw Man characters. While Asa may seem like an ordinary girl, she shares her body with Yoru, the powerful War Devil. As one of the Four Horsemen, Yoru takes control of Asa’s brain whenever she is not overwhelmed with fear, making this duo truly one-of-a-kind.
Despite having been partially consumed by Chainsaw Man in the past, Yoru’s powers have been greatly diminished as the concept of War has been reduced to mere entertainment in movies and games. Despite these limitations, her abilities remain impressive, including enhanced physical capabilities, the ability to create weapons from flesh and objects, and proficiency in swordsmanship, spearmanship, and strategic thinking.
It is highly probable that these skills would pose a challenge for AFO to defeat. Additionally, even without being at maximum strength, she remains a formidable force.
Darkness Devil – This appears to be a title or proper name and therefore does not need to be changed.
The Darkness Devil represents the innate fear of the unknown and darkness. Although it only appears sporadically, it leaves a lasting impact. Not much is known about the Darkness Devil, except that it viciously attacks anything it deems as a danger. This was evident during the International Assassins Arc, where it effortlessly annihilated the Devil Hunter team.
If faced with AFO, the villain would be left helpless. The Darkness Devil, a Primal Devil, would relentlessly attack until AFO was unable to fight back. As a transcendent being, the Darkness Devil is almost invincible and has incredible regenerative abilities in the dark. They also possess powers of Darkness and Force Manipulation, and can summon other Devils.
6) Gun Devil
Despite having minimal screen time, the Gun Devil was one of the most notorious and highly coveted characters in Chainsaw Man. Since the start of the series, Aki Hayakawa’s sole objective has been to avenge the Gun Devil’s actions against his family by hunting it down.
During the Gun Devil Arc, we catch a glimpse of this Devil as it confronts Makima. Even in this brief appearance, we witness the full extent of its powers as it plows through the land towards her. Despite not being at its peak strength, it still manages to leave a path of destruction in its wake.
The Gun Devil’s immense power would cause a downpour of bullets on AFO, ultimately leading to the villain’s defeat. Although AFO may attempt to shield themselves, it is unlikely to withstand the constant threat of guns that drives this Devil.
7) The Demon of Hell
During the International Assassins Arc, Santa Claus summoned it to take everyone to Hell, marking its first appearance. The Control Devil Arc saw its reappearance when Kishibe’s squad summoned it to condemn Makima to the same fate.
Despite its mysterious nature, it is known that this Devil possesses all the typical abilities of its kind. With its ability to manifest from a doorway in the sky and transport individuals to Hell, it embodies the terrifying concept of the underworld. In its own realm, it is expected to be just as formidable as other Devils.
8) The Bomb Devil
Reze, also known as Bomb Devil or Bomb Girl, is a beloved character from Chainsaw Man and rightfully deserves a spot on this list. In her own arc, the Bomb Girl Arc, Reze proved her popularity among fans. While she initially appeared as a kind and gentle girl, it was soon revealed that she had undergone intense military training since a young age. This facade was used as a means to get closer to Denji.
As a result, she had acquired impressive physical strength and skill in both knife fighting and hand-to-hand combat. Additionally, as the Bomb Devil, she possessed powerful abilities while transformed, such as increased durability, the ability to create explosions, and the ability to self-detonate. Even when facing AFO, despite the villain’s prior combat experience, the Bomb Girl’s diverse skillset would ensure her victory.
Falling Devil
Included in the list of Chainsaw Man characters who have the ability to defeat AFO, the Falling Devil is a captivating presence in the series. Representing the Primal Fear of Falling, she serves under Fami and appears to follow the commands of other Devils as well.
During the Falling Devil Arc, it was evident that this character possesses near immortality due to her incredibly powerful healing abilities. Additionally, she has a strong link to Hell and the ability to manipulate gravity, making it a potential weapon in her arsenal. Furthermore, she also possesses the power to control thoughts, forcing her victims to relive their most painful memories. It is also worth noting that she has the ability to manipulate both living beings and inanimate objects. However, her main weakness lies in her low durability.
Although AFO could potentially exploit this, he must first find the chance to do so. As evidenced in the manga, the Falling Devil attacks without mercy.
Famine Devil
In addition to the previously mentioned Chainsaw Man characters capable of defeating AFO, Fami, also known as the Famine Devil, possesses formidable powers. Despite her calm and cold demeanor, Fami embodies the terror of famine and is able to utilize enhanced healing and teleportation. She also has the ability to enslave those who are “hungry”and use them as her pawns, including the Falling Devil, Fire Devil, and Guillotine Devil.
Her cleverness is evident, especially given her abilities. It wouldn’t be surprising if she summoned the aforementioned Devils to help her defeat AFO. Furthermore, the Fire Devil’s power increases with each contract it makes, making it a formidable force. What begins as a one-on-one battle could easily become a four-on-one scenario. It would be intriguing to witness AFO face off against this group of Chainsaw Man characters.
