The Korean Business Research Institute has announced the brand reputation rankings for July, which covers K-pop girl groups. According to their list, data was derived from June 9 to July 9.
The rankings were considered through various factors such as coverage from the media, participation of consumers, interaction, and general exposure that can lead to buzz.
Here are the 10 most popular K-pop girl groups for July 2023!
1. NewJeans
NewJeans made it on the No. 1 spot for the month of July, surging with a 27.82 score rise, and leading the list with a brand reputation index of 5,704,051. As for their positivity-negativity analysis, NewJeans attained a score of 85.07 percent on the positive side.
NewJeans made waves with their new music, consisting of pre-releases “New Jeans,””ETA,”and “Super Shy.”With their fresh music and content gaining buzz, the girl group is expected to reign over the institute’s list of girl group brand reputation rankings.
2. (G)I-DLE
On the second place, girl group (G)I-DLE managed to claim a brand reputation index of 4,347, 392. The girl group is also active in their social media updates, music, promotions and many more, leading to their buzz.
3. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK made it on the top three, after securing a brand reputation index of 4,150,384 for the month of July. The girls are also active in uploading content, which documents their “BORN PINK”world tour across the globe.
4. aespa
aespa secured fourth place for July with a brand reputation index of 3,531,314.
5. IVE
Meanwhile, IVE continued to rank high in the list by gaining a brand reputation index of 2,938,434. They also gained buzz for their first-ever fan concert “The Prom Queens.”
6. LE SSERAFIM
For July, LE SERAFIM made it on the No. 6 spot with a brand reputation index of 2,795,120.
7. TWICE
TWICE managed to claim the seventh place with a brand reputation index of 2,737,264. The iconic “I Can’t Stop Me”hitmakers have been gaining traction for their “READY TO BE”world tour concerts across international regions.
8. Oh My Girl
On the eighth place, Oh My Girl collected a brand reputation index of 2,365,924.
9. SNSD
SNSD received a brand reputation index of 1,961,619.
10. Red Velvet
Lastly, Red Velvet concluded the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 1,658,468.
