10 One Piece Characters Who Wouldn’t Last a Minute in the Naruto Universe

10 One Piece Characters Who Wouldn’t Last a Minute in the Naruto Universe

The vast array of characters in One Piece and the expansive nature of the series’ cast are among the most thrilling elements of Eiichiro Oda’s manga. This diverse group allows for the creation of numerous styles and personalities, each with their own distinct qualities, backgrounds, goals, and other characteristics.

The potential for power-scaling makes it even more thrilling, as it opens up countless opportunities for these characters to be placed in other universes, such as the Naruto world. Nonetheless, there are several One Piece characters who would have minimal impact if they were transported to the Naruto universe.

Hypothetical Crossover: One Piece Characters Who May Struggle in the Naruto Universe

Tony Tony Chopper

Despite being a formidable fighter in the One Piece universe, Tony Tony Chopper’s abilities would not likely withstand the challenges of the Naruto universe. This conclusion is reinforced by the lack of solo fights for Chopper in the New World region, as depicted in Oda’s storytelling.

This implies that as the series progresses, Chopper may struggle to keep up with the challenges and opponents that Luffy and his crew will encounter. Additionally, since Chopper has not yet mastered any form of Haki at the time of this article’s writing, it is highly likely that he would not survive for more than a minute if he were to be transported to the Naruto universe.

2) Usopp

Despite the anticipation of Oda’s devoted followers for a significant power boost for Usopp in the Elbaf arc, his current role in the series renders him irrelevant in the Naruto universe. He is often criticized for lacking mastery of any form of Haki, a major disadvantage compared to other One Piece characters on this list.

While it is not mandatory for characters in the Naruto universe to possess Haki, mastering even one form of it sets a standard for their strength and skills. As Usopp has not achieved this standard, he is considered insignificant in any potential battles against characters from Masashi Kishimoto’s manga series.

Kin’emon: Kin’emon

Despite this, having a strong grasp of Haki does not guarantee success for One Piece characters in the Naruto universe, as shown by Kin’emon. Although he is a proficient fighter, Kin’emon does not possess the necessary skills to realistically compete against even the most mediocre fighters from Kishimoto’s series.

Starting off, his sword fighting style is limited to just one technique, particularly when he encounters Kaido as he exclusively utilizes the Oden Two-Sword Style against him. Additionally, his endurance, stamina, and other vital areas for survival are comparatively lower than those of a character of similar level in Naruto.

Rebecca

Similarly, like many other One Piece characters, Rebecca may be a formidable fighter in her own universe, but she lacks the necessary abilities to pose a threat in the Naruto universe. This is once again evident from her lack of mastery in any form of Haki, and her luxurious lifestyle as a princess after the Dressrosa arc may have diminished her prowess as a warrior.

Despite being taken directly from her time as a colosseum fighter and transported to the Naruto universe, it is highly likely that Rebecca would still be defeated by any character in Kishimoto’s manga. This is due to her lack of proper discipline or technique in sword fighting, which would make her ill-equipped for close-quarters combat against a skilled shinobi.

Jewelry Bonney

Despite the potential challenges presented by Bonney’s Devil Fruit in the Naruto universe, she will quickly become vulnerable when faced with long-range tactics. Additionally, her lack of Haki means that she can be easily defeated with just a few well-placed hits, as she is unable to anticipate or sense her opponent’s movements using Observation Haki.

Although the situation would be different if she had Pacifista accompanying her, this list assumes that the One Piece characters included will only have access to their standard powers and equipment. Since Bonney has only recently discovered her ability to control Pacifista, it would be unfair to include this and the necessary army in these conditions.

Hiyori Kozuki

Despite being the daughter of Oden and possessing great bravery and courage, Hiyori Kozuki is not a formidable combatant. This was evident in her final showdown with Kurozumi Orochi, where she had to depend on Denjiro to rescue her after her attempt to subdue Orochi failed.

Similarly, it is believed that her limited knowledge of combat revolved around sword fighting with Enma, one of the two swords passed down to her from her father, Oden. However, as she has given Enma to Zoro and her brother Momonosuke has received the other sword, Ame no Habakiri, she is now without any means of battling against characters from Naruto or One Piece.

Buggy the Clown

Despite his Devil Fruit powers being advantageous for survival, Buggy the Clown stands out as a unique character among those who have been transported from the One Piece universe to the Naruto universe. However, Kishimoto’s series does not typically favor gimmicky tricks, and Buggy’s abilities may not be as effective in this new world.

Despite the fact that Buggy is not a formidable opponent in combat, especially in the context of the Naruto universe, he would likely only last for a minute before being defeated. Even top-tier fighters and strategists such as Shikamaru Nara, Sasuke Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki would easily defeat Buggy.

8) Bon Clay

Despite being more skilled in combat than Buggy, Bon Clay would still struggle if he were transported to the Naruto universe, much like many other One Piece characters. This is due to the limitations of Haki and Devil Fruit powers, which have been discussed in previous entries. Additionally, Bon Clay’s disadvantage lies in being an early character in the series.

To put it differently, his power has a limit, and he cannot surpass it even with the abilities he displayed during the Impel Down arc. Although he may seem formidable in certain situations, he is unlikely to pose a threat to most fighters in Kishimoto’s shinobi-dominated world.

Despite being a character in One Piece, Spandam’s chances in the Naruto universe are minimal. As demonstrated in the Enies Lobby arc, he is considered the weakest among all One Piece characters on this list. He is even weaker than a regular armed soldier, as shown during his battle. While his Devil Fruit-ified sword, Funkfreed, may provide some assistance, it would only prolong his inevitable defeat, rather than prevent it entirely.

Helmeppo – no change needed

Finally, it is worth noting that Spandam’s introduction occurred before Helmeppo’s, making it challenging to evaluate his strength as a One Piece character. Despite undergoing intense training under the legendary Monkey D. Garp and mastering Haki and other special abilities, Helmeppo has yet to demonstrate the full extent of his power.

Despite the fact that Helmeppo’s last display of strength was during his rematch against Zoro in Water 7, before the time-skip, it is possible that he has become much stronger since then. However, considering his most recent feat of strength and other knowledge about him, it is unlikely that Helmeppo would pose a significant threat in the Naruto universe.

Final Thoughts

It is not unexpected to see numerous One Piece characters become insignificant in the Naruto universe, considering the large number of characters in the series. Additionally, as the story continues to introduce powerful and formidable fighters, it is inevitable that there will also be “weaklings”introduced.
