Initially, Robert Pattinson was the subject of speculation regarding his return as Batman due to his role in The Batman 2. However, recent comments from director Andy Muschietti have confirmed that Pattinson will not be the central Batman in the new DCU.

The debate surrounding who will embody the legendary Dark Knight has intensified, particularly following the multiple delays of both The Brave and the Bold and The Batman 2. In this context, actor Brandon Sklenar has emerged as a fan-favorite candidate for the role, especially after a notable interaction on Instagram.

A post by user liamlovesmovies sparked discussion about a potential World’s Finest film, which led to Sklenar adding his voice to the commentary with an enthusiastic “I approve.” While his comment pertained more generally to the project, it ignited excitement among fans.

It’s important to note that there is no indication that James Gunn is actively considering Sklenar for the role. In previous statements, Gunn has acknowledged the influence of fan suggestions, saying, “When I’m casting a role, I will sometimes see who fans have suggested online for folks I or my casting directors haven’t considered. Sometimes they have good ideas, sometimes terrible ones.”
