On Friday, April 26, 2024, the official website and X account for the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime announced that the series would run for two consecutive cours and shared a new promotional video. While an exact release date has not been confirmed, it is expected to premiere in July 2024, during the Summer 2024 season.
The 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime, created by J.C. Staff Studios, is based on Yu Hashimoto’s popular manga series of the same name, which centers around cosplay. The manga series has been serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform and currently has 19 volumes available.
2.5 Dimensional Seduction Anime to Run for Two Consecutive Cours

As previously stated, the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime’s official staff announced on Friday through a new trailer that the show would have a continuous run of two cours.
While the exact number of episodes for the anime has not been disclosed, the announcement has stated that the show will air on local channels for a duration of six months. The anime, which revolves around cosplay, is scheduled to debut in July 2024.
In addition, the production team of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime announced the addition of two new cast members. Sayumi Suzushiro, known for her role as Nijika Ijichi in Bocchi the Rock!, will be voicing Nonoa, a rising star who will be appearing alongside Ririsa.
In addition to Suzushiro-san, Sayumi Watanabe has also been added to the voice cast as Aria. She is portrayed as a character who aspires to gain popularity through cosplay, despite not being well-versed in anime and video game culture.
The most recent promotional video features both Aria and Nonoa. Fans can see Nonoa struggling with communication difficulties, while still pursuing her passions and attempting to make her first friend.
In the next part of the trailer, the focus shifts to Aria, who devotes herself to cosplay in pursuit of fame. This latest clip offers a glimpse into the intentions of both Aria and Nonoa as cosplayers.
In addition, the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime’s official website has also released statements from the recently announced voice actors. Suzushiro-san expressed that she experienced a boost of energy while recording for the character of Nonoa.
Likewise, Sayumi Watanabe has also shared her enjoyment in portraying Aria’s character. Both voice actors have expressed their excitement for the release of the anime and encouraged the audience to anticipate it.

As the president of the manga club at his school, he is completely infatuated with a 2D manga character named Lilliel.
Despite his routine life, everything takes a turn when Ririsa (Lilysa), a new girl, becomes a part of his club. Masamune learns that Ririsa shares his love for cosplay, particularly for the character Lilliel, the same one he is obsessed with. This anime blurs the lines between 2D and 3D and revolves around an unconventional romantic comedy.
