Recap of Episode 3 of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction
The episode commences with Mikari Tachibana being shocked to discover that Ririsa is actually Liliel. She becomes acquainted with the concept of cosplay and ultimately agrees to join Ririsa in cosplaying for her Cosrom event.
Mikari initially wanted to cosplay as Liliel, Masamune Okumura’s favorite character. However, upon realizing that Ririsa’s physical appearance suited the role better, she decided to instead cosplay as Miriella, another character from The Ashford Chronicles.
Tachibana remembers that she and Miriella share a similar experience. In the game, Miriella has feelings for Ashford, who is interested in Liliel. Similarly, Tachibana has a crush on Masamune, who is fixated on Liliel. Therefore, she can empathize with Miriella’s emotions.
Despite this, Masamune is still stunned by Tachibana and Ririsa’s cosplay. Tachibana goes so far as to mimic Miriella’s poses and actions, clearly displaying her love for Ashford. In light of this, Ririsa proposes that they take some photos for their cosrom.
Despite his excitement for the photography session, Masamune finds himself in an embarrassing situation when he sees Tachibana and Ririsa dressed as his beloved characters, causing him to faint.
After that, Mikari Tachibana informs Ririsa that using those pictures would violate her contract as a supermodel. Despite feeling disappointed, Ririsa still holds the images dear to her heart.
Even though she is not aware of it, she also becomes envious of Masamune’s lively conversations with Tachibana, in addition to that. Similarly, Mikari regrets not paying enough attention to understand Masamune’s hobbies.
She is grateful that the cosplay community gave her the opportunity to connect with the boy. Therefore, she is more than willing to cosplay with Ririsa once again. Additionally, the episode depicts Ririsa and Tachibana diligently editing her cosplay photos for an upcoming event.
