2024 Dream Concert World In Japan Postponed

The “2024 Dream World Concert In Japan”has been postponed by organizers due to the combination of hot weather and COVID-19 cases. Reports from news outlets in Korea have also revealed information regarding the potential dangers and new schedule for the highly anticipated event.

On July 30, the organizers of the “Dream Concert”officially announced the delay of the “Dream Concert World in Japan”until 2024.

According to reliable sources, the highly anticipated event had to be postponed due to a heat wave outbreak and a rise in COVID-19 infections in Japan. The original dates for the two-night event at the Belluna Dome were August 10 and 11.

According to recent reports, Japan has issued a heat stroke warning for 38 metropolitan municipalities due to a record-breaking heatwave. NHK also noted that temperatures in certain regions reached as high as 41 degrees Celsius on July 29.

In addition, it was revealed that the rescheduled date would be determined by the organizers after consulting with the Japanese production company. One of the organizers shared:

“Since it wasn’t suitable for a large number of concertgoers to gather, the Japanese government has decided to postpone the event and issue a nationwide heat stroke warning. We are currently discussing with the Japanese production company on when to hold the concert.”

On June 7, Korean news outlets announced that the “Dream Concert”will take place in 2024. This annual event, which started in 1995, brings together music lovers and beloved artists to create unforgettable memories at a large-scale music event.

According to sources, the upcoming “Dream Concert World In Japan 2024″will feature a star-studded lineup including artists from top entertainment companies such as SM, JYP, HYBE, and others. The organizers recently revealed the first artist lineup on June 18, which caused a frenzy among K-pop fans.

The initial roster featured a diverse group of artists including NewJeans, SHINee Onew, KISS OF LIFE, tripleS, DAY6, TWS, NEXZ, EPEX, and NCT WISH.

Additionally, the “Dream Concert World in Japan”will also incorporate the theme of “With Music, We Got a Friend.”The objective is to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan in 2025.

At present, the second roster for the event remains undisclosed, but there are rumors that it will feature a number of renowned artists from the K-pop industry.

Additionally, the highly anticipated “2023 Dream Concert”was recently attended by beloved K-pop groups. The final artist lineup for the May 2023 event was unveiled by the organizers of the Dream Concert.
