How to Build a Snowman in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Step 1: Locate the Red Chest
Venture into your Valley to track down a red chest. These chests appear at random locations; for example, I discovered mine right next to Scrooge’s Store. Opening the chest reveals a memory containing a diagram for building a snowman, which requires three types of materials listed in Roman numerals. However, I’m here to simplify the process for you.
Step 2: Gather Your Materials
You will need the following materials to construct your snowman:

Step 3: Assemble the Snowman
After collecting all the necessary materials, proceed to the Frosted Heights, where a large snowball awaits. Follow these steps to complete your snowman:
- Begin by using the 50 Snowballs from Box A to form the base.
- Add the materials from Box B to create the middle section.
- Top off your snowman using the items from Box C, don’t forget to include the Carrot for the nose!
Your finished Mad Hatter Snowman can then be placed anywhere in your Valley to bring holiday cheer.

Crafting is integral to this event, featuring various holiday-themed gifts. You can collect Festive Wrapping Paper by exploring the Plaza during the event, which is essential for creating these special gifts.

During the event, you will have the chance to catch Festive Fish in certain biomes, identifiable by their distinctive red and green ripples. Unlike previous years where players could only catch each festive fish once, this year in 2024, you can now catch them multiple times throughout the event.
