S+ Tier Anime Vanguard Units

  • Igros (Elite Knight) — When paired with Evo SJW, Evo Igros stands as the strongest secret in Anime Vanguards. The buffs he receives from SJW are remarkable, and he also provides buffs to SJW! He features full AoE, is immune to stun, and boasts exceptional stats.
  • Alocard (Vampire King) — Evo Alocard is the top-tier bleed unit in the game. With full AoE, impressive range, SPA, and base damage, he’s an excellent choice.
  • Song Jinwu (Monarch) — Evo SJW is regarded as the best mythic in Anime Vanguards. He can summon units, offers great DPS, and has outstanding synergy with Igris.
  • Cha-In (Blade Dancer) — Evo Cha-In is another top mythic. She can dodge and counter enemy attacks, has increased crit chances, and her DPS and range are notable.
  • Sosuke (Storm) — Evo Sosuke is a solid support mythic. He can stun and inflict increased damage on enemies, although his stun duration is relatively brief.
  • Vogita Super (Awakened) — Despite having good DPS, Evo Vogita Super, alongside Noruto, is considered one of the weaker evo mythics due to a lack of distinguishing passives.
  • Obita (Awakened) — Evo Obita boasts decent DPS but lacks the utility offered by SJW or Cha-In, and even Evo Sosuke surpasses him.
  • Noruto (Six Tails) — Evo Naruto is among the lesser Evo mythics, but his high raw stats make him a viable option.
  • Haruka Rin (Dancer) — Haruka Evo acquires a passive extending the range for other units within her vicinity. While her buffs are moderate, they become significant when applied across several units.
  • Sprintwagon — The only farm unit in the game, Sprintwagon is essential for any team composition.

S Tier Anime Vanguard Units

  • Alocard — Non-evo Alocard remains strong with bleed, full AoE, and exceptional range. He is arguably the best non-evo unit in Anime Vanguards.
  • Igros — Non-evo Igros serves well as a stat stick but requires evolution to reach his full potential.
  • Cha-In — Cha-In is potentially the best non-evo mythic. Her critical hit passive and cone AoE attack are beneficial across various game modes.
  • Sosuke (Hebi) — Sosuke ranks among the top non-evo mythics with great SPA, damage, and range, enhanced further by his passive.
  • Vogita Super — Vogita Super’s passive reduces its SPA as more Vogita units are in range, yet optimal usage requires rare units, which can be challenging in tougher scenarios.
  • Song Jinwu — Non-evo Song Jinwu is somewhat average. It cannot summon units, and its only positive trait is its relatively high base stats.
  • Obita — Although Obita has a weak passive for a mythic, he still stands as a relatively decent non-evo unit due to his solid base stats.
  • Noruto (Sage) — Proper placement of Noruto (Sage) is crucial to maximize his passive. Even so, he remains somewhat mediocre compared to other mythics.
  • Haruka Rin — Non-evo Haruka Rin may seem underwhelming alone, but she can provide a significant DPS boost if paired with strong units.

A Tier Anime Vanguard Units

  • Roku (Dark) — Roku (Dark) ranks as the top legendary unit in Anime Vanguards, capable of executing non-boss enemies with his passive, making him useful from the outset even on challenging levels.
  • Agony — Recognized as one of the premier supports, Agony has full AoE upon placement and deals knockback with his attacks.
  • Kinaru — Kinaru’s passive, while seemingly a debuff, offers stun immunity, which is vital against certain bosses, complemented by his decent DPS.
  • Goi — Goi excels in providing pure DPS for legendaries, gaining increased damage with more enemies in his range, along with the ability to dodge their attacks, which is useful against bosses.
  • Itochi — Itochi possesses the best burn capability among sub-mythic units, coupled with solid DPS.
  • Grim Wow — Grim Wow stands out as an effective legendary for tackling bosses thanks to his unique passive, though his range and DPS leave something to be desired.
  • Alligator — Alligator likely ranks as the strongest epic support unit, providing a nearly permanent 50% slow debuff on foes, particularly advantageous against bosses.
  • Kinnua — Kinnua delivers knockbacks and stuns enemies, offering superior performance over Kokashi but falling short compared to Alligator.
  • Kokashi — Kokashi can stun enemies while delivering decent damage, yet the duration of his attack’s stun is relatively brief.

B Tier Anime Vanguard Units

  • Genas — Genos achieves solid burn damage, with a passive that enhances his attack speed, making him preferable over Pickleo but less effective compared to other epics.
  • Pickleo — Among the best epic DPS units, Pickleo is a reliable choice until a legendary becomes available.
  • Inosake — Inosake has a reasonable passive, but his DPS fails to compare favorably against Alligator or Kinnua.
  • Genitsu — Genitsu is considered one of the lesser epic units, lacking sufficient DPS or utility against Kokashi or Kinnua.
  • Gaari — With a line AoE attack, Gaari delivers quite low damage, positioning him as one of the less effective epics in the game.
  • Shinzi — Often deemed the weakest among epic units, it’s best to avoid using Shinzi.

C Tier Anime Vanguard Units

  • Roku — Roku stands as one of the top rare units suitable for early gameplay, featuring decent DPS and a passive that can increase his attack significantly.
  • Rukio — Rukio likely has the highest DPS among rare units in Anime Vanguards, although it suffers from a limited attack AoE.
  • Sosuke — Sosuke provides respectable burn damage and remains effective even without upgrades.
  • Luffo — Luffo is very similar to Ichiga, but he benefits from range rather than damage on his passive, which is generally more beneficial.
  • Noruto — Noruto proves to be a commendable rare for early stages. His stats are genuinely impressive.

D Tier Anime Vanguard Units

  • Ichiga — Ichiga possesses a weak attack and an inadequate passive that merely grants a 20% damage increase.
  • Sanjo — Sanjo is among the least effective rare units, with both poor stats and a lackluster passive.
  • Jon — Jon is often rated as the worst rare unit in the game and is best avoided.
  • Joe — Although Joe has a useful passive, other rare units remain superior options.
  • Vogita — Mediocre by all accounts, Vogita is not competitive even among rare units.
