According to leaked documents from Disney, the animated series “Marvel’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”is set to debut in 2025, with speculation surrounding several other Marvel shows also surfacing.
While there’s buzz regarding Tom Holland’s next outing in Spider-Man 4, fans can look forward to seeing the iconic web-slinger in an exciting new venture: “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.”
Created by Jeff Trammell, this fresh animated series will not be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Instead, it will unfold within an alternate timeline, showcasing Spidey as he battles familiar foes alongside an unexpected instructor: Norman Osborn.
Information regarding the series has been scarce, but an uploaded logo file from Disney hints at its launch date: The premiere of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is slated for January 25, 2024.

It’s important to note that this release date hasn’t been officially confirmed by Disney or Marvel yet, so it’s wise to view this information with skepticism. For instance, an earlier copyright document suggested a release of November 2, 2024, which will not come to pass. It’s possible this information is outdated, so stay tuned for formal announcements.
If the rumors hold true, here’s a lineup of other upcoming Marvel TV series and their expected release dates:
- Daredevil: Born Again – March 4, 2025
- Eyes of Wakanda – August 6, 2025
- Ironheart – September 2025
- Marvel Zombies – October 2025
- Wonder Man – December 2025

With 2025 shaping up to be a significant year for Marvel Television, it comes after a restructured release strategy initiated by Kevin Feige in 2024. The previous year proved lackluster for Marvel (with exceptions being “Guardians of the Galaxy 3″and “Loki Season 2”), resulting in a tightened release schedule. This year, only “Deadpool & Wolverine”graced theaters, while “Agatha All Along”was released nine months post “Echo.”
2025 reverts to a packed slate: “Captain America: Brave New World”and “Thunderbolts”will conclude Phase Five, followed by “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,”launching Phase Six in July, leading up to “Avengers: Doomsday”hitting theaters in 2026.
