TikTok influencer Kubra Aykut has tragically passed away after reportedly falling from the 5th floor of a luxury apartment building in Turkey.
Kubra Aykut, known for her viral video titled “Wedding without a Groom,” was discovered deceased in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul on September 23.
According to Turkish media, a suicide note is believed to have been found alongside her body. Police are currently looking into the incident, and her remains were sent to a private hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Following the autopsy, her body was transported back to her hometown of Bursa, where she was laid to rest in a funeral attended by family and friends, including her grieving parents.
Kubra Aykut was just 26 years old at the time of her passing.
Her TikTok community has expressed heartfelt condolences, with many fans describing her as “an angel” who possessed “a beautiful heart.”
Among those mourning her loss are fellow Turkish influencer Dilan Polat and attorney Enes Çetinkaya, who is reported to have been in a long-term relationship with Kubra.
Kubra had recently sparked concern among her followers with posts about her struggles to maintain a healthy weight. She shared: “I’ve gathered my energy, but I can’t seem to gain weight. I lose a kilogram every day. I don’t know what to do; I urgently need to gain weight.”
The social media star gained notoriety on TikTok for hosting an extravagant wedding without a groom in 2023.
Dressed in a white wedding gown and tiara, she ‘married’ herself during the ceremony, stating, ” I cannot find a worthy groom for myself.”

Kubra humorously referred to herself as a ‘nervous bride’ in another video, which depicted her gleefully eating a burger on her wedding day.
Her empowering and relatable content allowed her to attract a significant following, amassing hundreds of thousands of fans who resonated with her light-hearted approach. She ultimately built a successful career from her TikTok fame.
Her final video on TikTok, posted shortly before her death, showcased her deep cleaning her apartment in a timelapse format.
