YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 has triumphantly wrapped up their “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL,”which took place at the Olympic Hall from October 4 to 6. This event marked the group’s first full-scale performance together in more than ten years, coinciding with their 15th anniversary, and all 12,000 tickets were sold out in record-breaking time.

During the opening performance of “Come Back Home,” the atmosphere was electrifying as the members’ powerful voices resonated throughout the venue, eliciting enthusiastic cheers from the audience. 2NE1 energized the crowd with thrilling renditions of their classic hits, including “Fire,” “Clap Your Hands,” and “Can’t Nobody.” Their emotional medley stirred up nostalgia, especially with “Lonely,” while CL’s solo hip-hop performance and the iconic anthem “I Am the Best” epitomized the group’s captivating essence.

On the following nights, YG’s rising group, BABYMONSTER, made a special guest appearance to pay homage to the legacy of YG’s female idols. They performed acapella renditions of 2NE1’s beloved tracks and humbly expressed, “It is a privilege to be the first guests at such a significant event, and we aspire to reach the heights of our seniors.”In turn, 2NE1 commended their efforts, reflecting a strong and supportive senior-junior relationship.

This concert celebrating 15 years of 2NE1 highlighted the special bond between the group and their fans. The members interacted intimately with the audience, reaching out to fans in the stands who showed their appreciation with standing ovations and cheers, rekindling a profound connection.

Emotions ran high during their long-awaited full-group performance, with some members visibly moved to tears. “We are so excited to celebrate our 15th anniversary here, the very place of our first concert. It feels surreal to reunite with our Blackjacks (the name of 2NE1’s fanbase),”they expressed. “Our lives have always been deeply connected to our fans. We are grateful for your lasting support.”

Following their successful concert in Seoul, 2NE1 plans to further their engagement with fans across the globe. They will fly to Manila on November 16 and continue their anniversary festivities with an extensive Asian tour covering nine cities, including Jakarta, Kobe, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei, with a total of 15 performances scheduled.
