In 2019, Asia was shocked by a string of crimes committed by former BIGBANG member Seungri and his friends Jung Joon-young, Choi Jong-hoon, and others. These crimes included gang rape, secret filming, pimping, and creating a chat group to share videos of women being sexually assaulted.
In a recent documentary, BBC unveiled previously undisclosed information about corrupt male celebrities, providing a detailed and shocking perspective on their actions.
In the documentary that lasted over an hour, numerous viewers were left horrified by the messages, images, and scenes depicting the depraved private lives, perverted secret filming habits, and degrading remarks about women made by Seungri and his friends.
Specifically, the public was able to imagine the heinous actions committed by Seungri’s group in the past with just 2 video clips that vividly depicted Jung Joon-young objectifying and filming women.

At the start of the documentary “Burning Sun – Exposing the Secret K-pop Chat Groups,”only a minute into the film, the BBC stuns viewers by showing a video of Jung Joon-young engaging in sexual harassment towards a woman. In the footage, the singer can be seen touching the woman’s intimate areas while directly facing the camera, proudly sharing his actions with his “friends”and displaying a smug and pleased expression. This incident took place within a sex chat group.
The BBC released a collection of messages revealing the disgusting behavior of Jung Joon-young and his associates in the sex chat group. In addition to secretly recording and sharing sensitive footage of the women, they also made vulgar remarks about the victims of their sexual assaults. These individuals saw assaulting and recording women as a form of entertainment to fulfill their twisted desires.

In the footage, Jung Joon-young can be seen repeatedly pressuring a woman to consume alcohol. Despite the woman’s clear refusal and statement that she no longer wants to drink, Jung Joon-young continues to coerce her, even though she is visibly drunk and almost slumped on the couch. The other partygoers, including Choi Jong-hoon, appear to be desensitized to this behavior, allowing Jung Joon-young to carry out his actions without intervention. During a ski trip to a resort near Seoul, South Korea in 2015, Jung Joon-young and his sex chatroom gang made the decision to “hunt” . Tragically, this led to a severe sexual assault. Choi Jong-hoon organized a party at the ski resort and invited some female friends to join. The women later revealed that after consuming alcohol with Choi Jong-hoon, Jung Joon-young, and four other men, they experienced complete memory loss and were unaware of what had transpired.
Following this, the sex chat group became highly active as Kim, one of the members, continuously sent sensitive images and videos of their sexual acts. These acts were filmed with the purpose of updating Seungri, who was unable to join the trip, about their exploits.

Jung Joon-young and his accomplices committed a heinous act in March 2016 by sexually assaulting an unconscious woman who had become intoxicated and hit her head at a hotel in Daegu. As reported by BBC, text messages exchanged between Jung Joon-young and other members of a sex chat group were found to be gloating about the incident. Despite the woman’s incapacitated state, Jung and his companions showed no signs of halting their actions. They proceeded to take turns assaulting her and recorded the entire ordeal.
After committing the assault, Jung boasted to his friends that it was the “most enjoyable night” of his life. As reported by journalist Kang Kyung-yoon, Jung Joon-young, Choi Jong-hoon, and their companions treated the women’s bodies like objects, leaving them unable to defend or reject their actions. They callously mocked the victims’ pain and treated it as a prize to be won.
Jung Joon-young and the other members of the sex chat group were responsible for multiple instances of g*ng rape.
