Highlights for January 4
NewJeans is set to make their third consecutive appearance at the awards, where they previously won the Digital Song Daesang and a Bonsang for their hit “Ditto”. Their achievements this year include a record-breaking fan meeting at Tokyo Dome and a significant performance at Japan’s Countdown Japan 24/25 indoor festival, marking them as a rising force in the K-pop industry.
Joining them is LE SSERAFIM, who will also perform for the third consecutive year. ZEROBASEONE returns for a second year, having previously won Rookie of the Year and Album Bonsang. They are nominated this year for their track “You Had Me at HELLO” , following two successful mini-album releases and a recent overseas tour that saw impressive sales in Japan.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is also part of the January 5 lineup. The 39th Golden Disc Awards will unfold at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan, with the first day dedicated to the Digital Song Awards and the second day focused on Album Awards. Following this initial announcement, a second lineup of performers will be revealed on December 9.
