3rd Gen Female Idol Retires to Marry 15–Year-Older Businessman

On April 26, the music industry announced that 3rd generation girl group ALICE’s member Sohee (real name Kim So-hee) will be marrying a businessman who is 15 years her senior.

According to Seoul Economy Star, Sohee’s agency, OK Company, has announced that the female idol’s exclusive contract will expire next week. This revelation also includes Sohee’s decision to retire from the entertainment industry in conjunction with her upcoming marriage.

Despite this, in regards to the other members of ALICE, it was stated that they each have varying lengths remaining on their exclusive contracts. They are currently managing their own schedules and will gradually discuss future plans. Additionally, they have expressed their congratulations to Sohee on her marriage.

Sohee, who was born in 1999, rose to fame when she came in second place on SBS’s “K-Pop Star 6 – The Last Chance”in 2016. She made her debut with the group ALICE that same year and also made an appearance in the TVING series “Duty After School”the previous year.
