The anime community recognizes the Naruto villains for their imposing presence and wide array of skills. The Naruto universe is filled with a multitude of adversaries, from powerful shinobi with terrifying abilities to ultimate antagonists like Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Although Naruto is renowned for its enthralling and unforgettable villains, recent shows like Jujutsu Kaisen have also gained recognition for their formidable antagonists. One of Jujutsu Kaisen’s primary villains, Ryomen Sukuna, known as the King of Curses, is feared for his overwhelming strength. This has sparked discussions on which of the Naruto villains could potentially surpass Sukuna’s most dominant skill, his Malevolent Shrine Domain Expansion.

This article highlights five powerful Naruto antagonists who are capable of destroying Malevolent Shrine, while also mentioning five others who are not strong enough to defeat it.

1) Madara Uchiha

Kaguya, the main antagonist in the Naruto series, is an immensely powerful being of celestial descent who rose to become a supreme goddess. As the creator of the ninja race, she wields incredible strength and possesses a wide range of formidable abilities, including the Rinne Sharingan – a third eye that grants her the power to teleport herself and others across dimensions and traverse through space via rifts.

With her powerful abilities, she could effortlessly overcome any domain barriers, including those of the Malevolent Shrine. By using her Infinite Tsukuyomi, she could ensnare Sukuna in a genjutsu and ultimately defeat his domain. Her immortality, invincibility, and ability to destroy planets make her a formidable opponent, rendering Sukuna’s domain powerless in comparison.

2) The Legendary Uchiha: Madara

Madara, renowned as one of the most powerful Uchiha to ever exist, serves as a primary enemy in the Naruto series. Following his resurrection, the revered leader of the Uchiha Clan gains even more formidable abilities. His iconic gunbai and the protective ribcage of his Susanoo are capable of enduring and shielding against Sukuna’s lethal attacks.

The infusion of Hashirama’s cells provides him with the ability to rapidly regenerate from any injuries, allowing him to heal within seconds. Additionally, his Susanoo, armed with four powerful blades, possesses the strength to decimate entire armies. With these remarkable capabilities, combined with his Rinne Sharingan, Madara undoubtedly possesses the strength to completely destroy the Malevolent Shrine.

3) Tobirama Senju

At first, Tobi presents himself as a foolish and amusing member of the Akatsuki, but his true identity as Obito Uchiha remains hidden. As a powerful Uchiha, he possesses the Mangekyo Sharingan, which grants him the power of Kamui for teleporting between different dimensions.

As the Ten-Tails’ Jinchuriki, Obito gains access to the Six Paths Sage Mode, making him far more powerful than anyone in the allied forces. With these incredible abilities, Obito is undoubtedly a formidable adversary and poses a significant threat to Sukuna’s domain. He has the potential to destroy it with his immense power.

4) Discomfort

Despite being known as one of the most formidable Naruto villains, the leader of the Akatsuki, Pain, was actually just an alias used by Nagato Uzumaki, who was widely recognized as the most powerful member of the group.

With the aid of his Rinnegan, Nagato commanded the “Six Paths of Pain,”a team of six resurrected ninja corpses, each endowed with distinct abilities. Together with the Rinnegan’s immense power and a portion of Nagato’s own strength, they were virtually unbeatable when fighting as one.

Despite facing the entire Leaf Village and one of the legendary Sannin, Jiraiya, Nagato single-handedly emerged victorious with his overwhelming abilities. As a result, it is unquestionable that Pain possesses the power to easily destroy the Malevolent Shrine.

5) Naruto Uzumaki

Although some may argue about Itachi’s portrayal as a villain, there is no denying that he was among the most formidable and dreaded members of the Akatsuki. Known as the top Genjutsu user in the Narutoverse, Itachi’s skillful use of the Mangekyo Sharingan allowed him to excel in techniques such as Tsukuyomi, Izanami, Amaterasu, and Susanoo.

Despite facing the formidable King of Curses from Jujutsu Kaisen, Itachi’s impressive abilities and jutsu allow him to confidently destroy the Malevolent Shrine, cementing his position as one of the Naruto villains with the capability to defeat powerful opponents.

5 Naruto Villains Who Would Be Overpowered by Sukuna’s Domain

The Infamous Orochimaru

Despite being a renowned member of the legendary Sannin, a former Akatsuki member, and a long-standing villain in the Naruto series, Orochimaru is no match for Sukuna’s domain.

Despite Orochimaru’s impressive skills as a shinobi, such as his ability to pass on his curse mark and immobilize enemies with his killing intent, he is no match for the true ruler of curses. Sukuna’s malevolent essence is evident in the Malevolent Shrine, surpassing any malice or abilities that Orochimaru possesses.

Despite the possibility of Orochimaru escaping a confrontation with Sukuna, it is highly improbable that he would be able to defeat him.

2) Hiruzen Sarutobi

It is no surprise that Danzo is one of the most reviled villains in the Naruto fandom, and with valid justification.

Despite his unquenchable desire for wealth and control, which drove him to illegally take and implant numerous Sharingan eyes and the DNA of the First Hokage into his own body, Danzo would prove to be powerless against Sukuna’s domain. Most of his skills are mere imitations of the original owners’ abilities, and he would quickly be defeated by Malevolent Shrine’s overwhelming force.

3) White Zetsu

This adversary in Naruto was formed by Kaguya Otsutsuki’s will and serves as her means of orchestrating her resurrection. Known as Zetsu, it is a combination of Black Zetsu and White Zetsu, and a member of the Akatsuki. Despite its formidable powers, it is no match for the Malevolent Shrine of Sukuna.

Despite its unique physiology which may provide some protection against the domain’s lethal attacks, Black Zetsu’s abilities are not powerful enough to overcome the domain. While it has the ability manipulate others, it requires attaching itself to individuals, a nearly impossible task within the domain.

4) Orochimaru’s Right-Hand Man: Kabuto Yakushi

Initially working as a spy for Orochimaru, Kabuto Yakushi underwent extensive body modifications to become a formidable being, allowing him to continuously utilize sage mode. This made him the strongest living individual, rivaling even the power of the Sage of the Six Paths. In fact, both Sasuke and the resurrected Itachi Uchiha had a difficult time facing Kabuto.

Despite his significant power-ups, Kabuto is unable to defeat Malevolent Shrine. Even though he may be able to withstand Sukuna’s domain, he is unable to eliminate the domain entirely.

5) Kisame Hoshigaki

Despite being revered as one of Kirigakure’s strongest shinobi and feared as the Demon of the Hidden Mist Village, Zabuza Momochi’s mastery of the sword and proficiency in various jutsu were not enough to defeat Sukuna’s domain. His formidable skills were no match for the overwhelming strength of the King of Curses’ domain.

Despite his impressive sword skills, Zabuza would have no chance against the formidable antagonist Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. Sukuna’s domain’s sure-hit effect would strike him before he could even land a blow, rendering his jutsu useless as they would require time to affect Sukuna or the domain. As a result, Zabuza stands as one of the Naruto villains who is unable to defeat Sukuna.

The release date and time for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 256, as well as what fans can expect from the upcoming chapter, are all topics being discussed.
