After months of teasing us with rumors about a potential ‘Diddy Do it?’ project, 50 Cent’s P Diddy documentary series is officially happening. Netflix has secured the rights after a fierce bidding war.
Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy, is currently being sued by multiple individuals for allegations of sexual and physical violence, rape, and sex trafficking. In March, federal agents and US Homeland Security conducted a raid on his residences as part of their ongoing investigations.
50 Cent (real name Curtis James Jackson III) has been one of the most outspoken figures in the industry regarding the situation. Despite the allegations, he has not hesitated to use social media to criticize his rival.
In March, there was a circulating fake poster online for a Netflix docu-series called Diddy Do It?. 50 Cent also shared the post and commented, “This will shatter records upon its release.”

Despite initial assumptions that it was just 50 Cent making a dig at Diddy, it has been confirmed that the rumors were in fact true. According to a report by TMZ on May 21, Netflix has purchased the rapper’s multi-part documentary on P Diddy after a bidding war.
According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, there was a fierce competition among streaming services to obtain the rights. 50 Cent corroborated this information, posting the report from TMZ on his Instagram with the comment: “Netflix emerged as the victor in the bidding war, but if additional victims continue to come forward, we may need more episodes.”
The news was timely, as Diddy was recently faced with another lawsuit from Crystal McKinney. She claims that the rapper sexually assaulted her at his recording studio in New York City in 2003.
Recently, a video surfaced of Diddy attacking Cassie Ventura, who had previously filed a lawsuit against the rapper in November. The lawsuit alleged that he had engaged in sex trafficking and assault against her for a decade.
Is there a release date for 50 Cent’s Netflix Diddy documentary?
Despite the lack of an official release date for 50 Cent’s Diddy documentary, sources have informed TMZ that it will be available on Netflix in the near future.
Despite 50 Cent talking about the docu-series since March, many of us believed it was just a joke. However, with this latest news, it seems that the documentary is already in the process of being made.
50 Cent has been vocal in his criticism about Diddy
One aspect that remains uncertain is the official title of the project, as it is unclear if Diddy Do It? was meant to be a serious consideration or simply a playful suggestion. However, it is likely that further information will be unveiled in the upcoming days.
50 Cent’s P Diddy Documentary: A Preview
The focus of 50 Cent’s P Diddy documentary will be on the rapper’s alleged sexual assault and violence allegations, as well as the federal investigation that followed the accusations. This documentary will delve into the various claims made against P Diddy and the subsequent legal proceedings that ensued.
The legal cases were initiated in November 2023 by Cassie, also known as Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, a well-known R&B artist who was discovered by Diddy in 2005 at the age of 19 while he was 37. They were romantically involved from 2007 until 2018.
The complaint alleges that shortly after they met, Diddy pulled her into a lifestyle filled with ostentatious displays, excessive speed, and drug use, and that the abuse began when they entered into a romantic relationship. She further claims that over the span of 10 years, he engaged in sex trafficking, rape, and physical assault against her.
The paragraph also recounts an occurrence that took place “around March 16,”in which the rapper was heavily intoxicated and struck Ms Ventura in the face, resulting in a black eye.

According to a video that surfaced this week from a hotel’s CCTV footage, Diddy can be seen hitting and punching Cassie before dragging her across the floor as she attempted to flee. This further supports the previous statement.
In that same month, a lawsuit was filed by Joie Dickerson-Neal against Diddy, alleging that he had drugged and sexually assaulted her in 1991 while she was in college. The lawsuit also alleges that the rapper had covertly recorded the assault and shared it with others.
Several lawsuits ensued, including one filed by an anonymous woman who claimed that Diddy and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall had sexually assaulted her and a friend in the early 1990s. Another lawsuit accused Diddy of drugging and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in 2003.
In February 2024, Diddy was sued by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones for allegedly directing his associates to make unwanted advances towards him and constantly groping and touching his anus without consent.
In addition, the producer alleges that Diddy has been hosting “sex-trafficking parties”and claims to possess undeniable proof of the rapper engaging in illegal activities, such as providing minors and sex workers with alcoholic beverages containing drugs, at his residences.
Despite previously stating that the accusers were seeking financial gain, Diddy has vehemently denied the allegations against him. However, following the online release of the Cassie video, he issued an apology expressing sincere remorse and disgust towards his own actions.
Despite the apology, numerous celebrities, such as 50 Cent, have criticized it. In a tweet, 50 Cent stated, “Who is advising him right now? This is not going to work. SMH bad move.”

Despite the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office acknowledging the disturbing and unsettling nature of the CCTV footage, they stated that they are unable to press charges due to the incident occurring in 2016.
Upon hearing this, 50 Cent stated, “The reason for them releasing that tape is because they’re aware that they cannot press charges based on what we witnessed. However, they also know that what we saw cannot be erased from our minds.”
According to 50 Cent’s recent comments, it seems like we can expect to hear from more of Diddy’s victims in his upcoming Netflix docu-series. This series aims to uncover and shed light on allegations that date back decades.
