60th Baeksang Arts Awards Presents Star-Studded Lineup Including Song Hye-kyo, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Tang Wei

The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, which will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on May 7th at 5 p.m., will feature prominent stars from South Korea. Attendees include last year’s winners as well as stars who will be present to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards. This highly anticipated lineup is sure to impress.

The award ceremony will see the return of last year’s Best New Actor in the TV section, Moon Sang-min and Roh Yoon-seo, as well as Kim Si-eun, who won Best New Actor in the Film section. Additionally, Jang Dong-yoon, who enlisted after receiving the award for Best New Actor in Film, will also make an appearance at Baeksang once again.

The winners of last year’s Best Supporting Actor awards in both the TV and Film sections, Jo Woo-jin and Lim Ji-yeon, will present the trophies to this year’s winners in the same categories. It is worth noting that Lim Ji-yeon has also received a nomination for Best Actress this year.

The 59th Baeksang winners, including Kim Jong-kook, Lee Eun-ji, Kim Min-soo, Jung Jae-hyung, Lee Young-joo, and Ha Ji-sung, will join the entertainment and theater category as award presenters on the stage this year.

Once again, Lee Sung-min, Song Hye-kyo, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Tang Wei will light up the Baeksang event with their presence. Not only that, Park Eun-bin and director Park Chan-wook will also present awards to the deserving recipients of the new Daesang trophies.

The cast lineup also includes Kim Moo-yeol and Park Ji-hwan, whose film “The Roundup: Punishment”exceeded 6 million viewers in just 9 days after its release. Additionally, Kim Shin-rok, who will make her second appearance at Baeksang, and Kim Si-eun, the first recipient of the GUCCI Impact Award, will also attend. Other notable actors joining the lineup are Jang Ki-yong and Chun Woo-hee, who star in JTBC’s new drama “The Atypical Family”, Lee Jun-ho, set to appear in Netflix’s upcoming series “Cashero”, and Gil Ha-yeon, among others.

The 2024 Baeksang Awards will feature a highly anticipated reunion between Shin Ha-kyun and Lee Min-jung after 11 years. The two previously starred in SBS’s drama “All About My Romance”in 2013 and will now be working together once again as presenters for the Baeksang Awards.

The Baeksang Arts Awards, which includes recognition for TV, film, and theater, is the sole comprehensive arts award ceremony in Korea. The 60th edition of the Baeksang Arts Awards will also be broadcasted live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
