The Korean Business Research Institute has released their first brand reputation rankings for July, covering K-pop boy groups.
The results for July were derived from numerous factors such as the participation of consumers, interaction with fans, awareness, and coverage with the media. According to their layout, the data collected were from June 8 to July 8.
Here are the 7 most popular K-pop groups for July 2023!
1. BTS
For July, BTS claimed the No. 1 spot on the list with a brand reputation index of 10,505,246, due to a 5.72 percent score increase. Apart from their rankings, the group also garnered an impressive score of 85.11 percent positive reactions for their positivity-negativity analysis.
2. Stray Kids
On the second place, the spot was claimed by Stray Kids after garnering a brand reputation index of 4,586,068 due to an overwhelming score increase of 120.60 percent.
Stray Kids joined in the list, since they made waves on the music scene with third full length album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”and its title track “S-Class.”
3. SEVENTEEN
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN entered the third place with a brand reputation index of 4,490,949, due to a 2.54 percent score increase. The group has also gained buzz for their promotions and achievements with 10th mini album “FML.”
4. SHINee
On the fourth place, SHINee managed to join the list after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,085,166. This is also due to a 5.93 score rise, highlighting their unending impact on the K-pop industry.
The “Princes of K-pop”also made buzz this July, when they released their eighth full album “Hard”and its tile track of the same name on June 10.
5. NCT
NCT completed the top five for the July rankings, after seeing an amazing score rise of 52.93 percent, leading to their final brand reputation score of 3,085,166. Furthermore, each of their sub-units also gained buzz separately due to numerous group activities and schedules.
6. MONSTA X
MONSTA X claimed the sixth place for July’s brand reputation rankings for K-pop boy groups.
7. EXO
Lastly, EXO secured the brand reputation list’s seventh place. The “Nation’s Pick”has also been gaining lots of attention for their highly anticipated comeback with seventh full album “EXIST,”as well as their pre-releases and teasers.
