Despite My Hero Academia coming to an end and Jujutsu Kaisen approaching its conclusion, there has been a lot of discussion surrounding manga endings on the internet. While My Hero Academia’s ending was generally well-received, there were some criticisms about certain elements after the time skip. On the other hand, Jujutsu Kaisen seems to have started off on a weaker note.
Fans were disappointed with the ending of the manga, specifically the Uraume vs. Kinji Hakari fight. Many had eagerly awaited the remaining scenes of the intense battle, but the manga did not deliver. Instead, after Sukuna’s demise, Uraume inexplicably surrendered, leading to an anti-climactic conclusion to the fight.
Therefore, as the manga does not reveal any new details about Sukuna’s underlings and Hakari’s defeat at their hands, let us explore which My Hero Academia characters could have emerged victorious against them instead.
Please note: This article may include spoilers from the manga series My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen.
All For One, Deku, and 5 other My Hero Academia Characters Who Have the Power to Defeat Uraume from Jujutsu Kaisen
All Might
Despite being a strong character, Uraume is no match for All Might at his peak. This is due to the fact that All Might previously held the One For All quirk, which was given to him by Nana Shimura. The quirk granted him an immense stockpile of raw power, so much so that All Might was recognized as the most formidable individual in the world.
The One For All quirk elevated All Might’s physical capabilities to a superhuman level. Although Uraume possessed the ability to enhance their body’s abilities through Cursed Energy, they were no match for All Might’s extraordinary accomplishments. Therefore, All Might is certain to defeat them.
2) All For One
Despite facing multiple defeats throughout the series, All For One was widely regarded as the strongest character in the My Hero Academia manga. However, it should be noted that he never fought at his full physical capacity, due to the toll of previous battles. This was evident even when he reverted to his younger forms, as the lingering effects of his prolonged fights still took a toll on his body.
If All For One were to engage in a one-on-one battle against Uraume, he would undoubtedly defeat them. This is due to his possession of numerous quirks, which he could utilize consecutively.
Star and Stripe
Although Star and Stripe’s powers were not boundless, her quirk New Order gave her the ability to establish rules for herself and those around her as long as she could physically contact them. The reason for her defeat against Shigaraki was due to his loss of inherent identity, but that will not be an issue for Uraume.
Therefore, should Star and Stripe engage in a confrontation with Uraume, it is probable that she would establish a new regulation that would aid her in emerging victorious in the battle.
Deku
At the conclusion of the ultimate battle, Deku emerged as the most powerful hero in My Hero Academia. In contrast to his predecessor who solely relied on One For All’s power, Deku was able to harness the abilities of past users’ quirks.
Thus, it can be expected that Deku will have a considerable upper hand in a battle against Uraume. This is primarily due to the formidable power of the One For All quirk, which should be more than sufficient to overcome them. As a result, the supplementary quirks inherited from previous users should solidify his triumph.
Endeavor
As any avid fan would be aware, Uraume’s Cursed Techniques were predominantly Ice-based. Despite their lethality, they would not pose a threat to one of the most powerful fire quirk users in the My Hero Academia universe, Endeavor.
Endeavor possessed multiple fire-based techniques which were effective in countering Uraume’s techniques. However, the ultimate move that was sure to defeat them was Prominence Burn.
Shigaraki Tomura
Towards the conclusion of the My Hero Academia manga, Shigaraki Tomura became essentially identical to All For One, possessing an endless array of quirks in addition to his initial ability, Decay.
As any fan would be aware, the activated Decay quirk was undoubtedly one of the most dominant abilities in the series, granting the user the ability to obliterate cities with a mere touch of the ground. This maneuver could potentially serve as a formidable response to Uraume’s Ice Formation.
Like
Like Endeavor, Dabi was also a user of a fire-based quirk. The difference between the two was that while Endeavor’s flames were normal in color, Dabi’s were hotter and burned blue. This made him the most powerful fire-based quirk user in the world of My Hero Academia.
It was clear that only with the combined efforts of the entire Todoroki family could his rampage be brought to an end. Therefore, it would have been impossible for Uraume, an ice-based curse user, to defeat him in a one-on-one battle.
