9 most evil things Sukuna has done in Jujutsu Kaisen, ranked

Ryomen Sukuna, the main antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen, lives up to his title in the series by committing despicable and heartless acts that may be deemed repulsive by some.

It is important to understand the concept of evil before labeling the actions of the King of Curses as such. Regardless of his title as the ‘antagonist,’ evil can be defined as someone who is wicked, engages in immoral actions, takes pleasure in the suffering of others, and uses questionable means to achieve their goals. Similar to how the King of Curses attained power by taking over new hosts, evil individuals also seek to satisfy their thirst for power through unethical methods.

Despite the numerous evil deeds he has committed throughout the series, one wonders what could be the most heinous ones he has yet to carry out in Jujutsu Kaisen.

After awakening inside Itadori’s body, the King of Curses engaged in one of his first battles. It occurred when Itadori willingly gave him control in order to handle a special-grade cursed spirit. Once the spirit was defeated, the King of Curses noticed that Itadori was unable to resume control and subsequently targeted Megumi.

Prior to engaging in battle with Megumi, the King of Curses deliberately removes Itadori’s heart to ensure that if he were to awaken and take control, he would perish immediately. This action was solely for the King’s own entertainment, as he desired to witness Itadori’s demise at the hands of his own comrade.

After defeating Megumi and fatally injuring Yuji, the King of Curses met with Yuji in a separate consciousness and proposed a Binding Vow. This agreement stated that Sukuna would revive Yuji, but in exchange, Sukuna would take control of Yuji’s body for one minute. However, Sukuna also promised not to harm any of Itadori’s friends during this time.

Despite the seemingly harmless nature of the offer to revive him, Itadori agreed to the Binding Vow and they settled on using their fists to determine its effectiveness. However, there was a crucial clause that the protagonist may have overlooked – if he were to lose a battle of fists against Sukuna, Itadori would forget all about the Binding Vow.

As anticipated, Sukuna emerged victorious and Itadori was reborn without any knowledge of the Binding Vow that had been confirmed between them. The vow was triggered during the Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen, when Tsumiki awoke as Yorozu and the antagonist seized control of the protagonist’s body, switching hosts.

The King of Curses’ determination to achieve his goals was evident in his unwavering commitment to any means necessary.

During the peak of the Vs Mahito arc in Jujutsu Kaisen, the protagonist attempted to seek assistance from the King of Curses after witnessing Junpei’s transformation caused by Mahito’s cursed technique. As anticipated, the antagonist vehemently refused the protagonist’s request.

Even after Junpei’s body had decayed, Sukuna and Mahito continued to laugh, cruelly mocking Itadori for seeking aid from cursed spirits like themselves. This was yet another example of the King of Curses’ malevolence.

Following a perplexing end to the battle between Choso and Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen, Jogo emerged and forcefully fed Itadori a large number of fingers in order to awaken the King of Curses. Mimiko and Nanako, the daughters of Geto, were also in attendance.

Upon Sukuna’s awakening, Mimiko and Nanako implored him to rescue Geto from the clutches of Kenjaku. In exchange, they promised to give him one of his fingers back. However, the King of Curses felt insulted by their request and mercilessly beheaded both of them, revealing the deep malice that resided within his heart.

Megumi had no choice but to summon Mahoraga to Shibuya Station in order to confront Shigemo. Luckily, the King of Curses arrived just in time and managed to rescue both of them. He challenged Mahoraga to a one-on-one battle, which ultimately forced the Disgraced one to reveal his domain.

Despite the defeat of Mahoraga through Sukuna’s domain expansion, thousands of innocent civilians were also harmed in the surrounding area of his Malevolent Shrine. Following Itadori’s possession, he was deeply impacted by the actions of the King of Curses who had taken control of his body.

Conversely, the King of Curses found pleasure in watching the protagonist suffer.

During the Culling Game arc, Tsumiki Fushigoro exposed her true identity as Yorozu, an ancient sorcerer. The Disgraced one seized this opportunity to fulfill the Binding Vow he had made with the protagonist and assumed control of his body. He removed one of Itadori’s fingers and transferred it to Megumi, successfully completing the host transfer.

This demonstrated the King of Curses’ willingness to do whatever was necessary, regardless of morality, in order to gain more power. When Itadori’s body proved to be a hindrance to his control, the antagonist transferred himself into the body of Megumi, who was both stronger and more easily influenced than Itadori.

3) Itadori’s Powerlessness (Culling Game Arc)

Despite his lack of mastery over cursed energy manipulation, Itadori was still able to land a few blows on the King of Curses after taking over Megumi, leaving him feeling powerless.

Despite Sukuna’s use of his cursed technique to impale him, the protagonist managed to flee alongside Uraume on Nue. Sukuna, along with his partner, mocked the protagonist for his perceived weakness. As previously mentioned, the King of Curses took pleasure in Itadori’s suffering, a trait that remained constant until the end.

After taking his bath, the King of Curses confronted Yorozu and employed Megumi’s cursed technique in their battle. He ultimately trapped Yorozu and used the same technique to end her life.

The King of Curses opted to use his cursed technique in his battle against Tsumiki (Yorozu), but his main goal was to inflict pain on Megumi by fatally striking his sister with the same technique that he had treasured since childhood.

During the Shinjuku Showdown arc, a flashback was revealed showcasing Sukuna and Uraume while the final fight was ongoing. The King of Curses disclosed that Itadori was the offspring of Kenjaku and his deceased twin brother, whom he consumed while they were still in their mother’s womb.

Despite being hungry in his mother’s womb, the King of Curses committed the taboo act of killing his own brother. This demonstrated the wickedness inherent in the King and revealed his degenerate nature.
