Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya from 90 Day Fiancé made the decision to relocate to a different state, but were torn about leaving their loved ones behind.
Jovi Dufren, who hails from Louisiana, introduced his Ukrainian partner Yara Zaya to American audiences on Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. Together with their daughter Mylah, they made a home in a New Orleans suburb.
Upon their return to the franchise on 90 Day: The Last Resort, the couple deliberated over their intentions to depart from Louisiana.
Despite her concerns, Jovi’s mother Gwen Eymard was worried that the distance would make it difficult for her to see her granddaughter frequently.
Despite speculation from fans, Jovi and Yara officially confirmed on May 26 through an Instagram post that they have indeed moved to Miami, Florida with their daughter Mylah.
“The 90 Day Fiancé star announced, “We have officially become residents of Florida after much consideration between Louisiana and Miami. We have finally made the decision to relocate!”
Although it was a tough decision to leave my family and friends, Mylah has been thriving here and truly enjoying her new life. I am excited to share more with you soon!
The video depicted the family of three bidding farewell to Jovi’s relatives and exchanging their previous lifestyle for a new one filled with days at the beach and dining al fresco in the warmer climate.
Jovi and Yara expressed their concern about the unknowns of life in Miami and acknowledged that they will miss their loved ones and the friendships they formed in Louisiana.
Despite Yara being the one who first suggested moving out of state due to her feelings of isolation and dissatisfaction, it is evident to fans that Jovi ultimately joined in and made a significant decision for the betterment of his family.
Despite the challenges they have faced, Yara and Jovi continue to prove the strength of their marriage through the joyful moments captured in the video. Additionally, they have shared their commitment to prioritizing their daughter’s well-being.
