Despite his numerous appearances on 90 Day Fiancé, Big Ed’s most memorable moment came during Season 4 of Before the 90 Days. During his trip to the Philippines to visit his girlfriend at the time, Rosemarie Vega, he had an unforgettable experience while showering outside with her and her father. In an unexpected turn of events, a rat appeared in the basement and caused Big Ed to panic.
In the “Reality Rewatch”series of “People,”the 90 Day Fiancé star revisited the scene and shared their reaction to what had happened four years prior.
Big Ed confessed that the most amusing aspect of the scene was Rose’s apparent delight in watching him suffer.

After showering with Rose’s family, Big Ed reached a breaking point and decided that he did not want to spend another night at their house.
Despite initially expressing that showering in the Philippines was not a pleasant experience for him, he has since come to realize that it was well received by viewers.
According to him, the shower scene with the father and the rat was the most peculiar event of the entire season. He also mentioned that it holds the title of being the most iconic moment in TLC history for 90 Day Fiancé.
Since making his franchise debut in 2020, Big Ed has remained a recurring cast member and fans have witnessed his journey through various relationships on the show.
Despite going through a breakup with Liz, he is currently appearing on Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. Many viewers are wondering if he will continue to be a part of the show now that he is single.
