Following her appearance on the Drew Barrymore Show, 90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem faced backlash, leading to the removal of her interview clips from the daytime TV program.
Currently, Angela Deem and her husband, Michael Ilesanmi, are featured on the eighth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. They are in the process of obtaining Michael’s spousal visa so that he can join Angela in the US.
Angela joined host Drew Barrymore and guest co-host Ross Matthews on the Drew Barrymore Show in New York City on June 17.
Despite appearing on the talk show, Angela received backlash from 90 Day Fiancé fans on Reddit who criticized her for seeking attention for her negative actions this season.
Following the negative reaction from viewers, CBS removed the segments of her appearance on the Drew Barrymore Show and made them private on YouTube.
Following the show, a fan expressed their disappointment stating, “It’s disappointing that Drew Barrymore would give a platform to someone as low as Angela. Despite all the drama, she announced that she and Michael are still in a relationship. TLC should remove these two scammers. Their actions are truly disgusting.”
One user pointed out that she receives societal praise for her behavior, and that everyone seems to cater to her.
Despite causing controversy on the talk show, Angela expressed her gratitude to both Drew and Ross for inviting her in an Instagram post shared on June 17.
“In her caption, she expressed her deep gratitude and awe towards @drewbarrymore and @helloross. Being in their presence was a great honor and left her starstruck. She also wanted to reiterate her love for them and thank them once again.”
Due to the circulating rumors that Angela was let go from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, it comes as no surprise to fans that the show’s videos have been made private.
In May, Angela officially announced that she would not be returning to 90 Day Fiancé. It is likely that she wanted to make one final splash in the media before her departure from the franchise.
