Debbie Aguero was revealed to have been sending messages to Ruben ‘The Cuban’ Sanchez, suggesting that she had been using him as part of her storyline on 90 Day: The Single Life.
During Season 4 of 90 Day: The Single Life, Debbie Aguero and Ruben ‘The Cuban’ Sanchez dated in Miami, but their relationship did not continue once filming concluded.
On X, a fan of the show 90 Day Fiancé came across old messages that Debbie had sent to Ruben on a dating app prior to their appearance on the show.

Debbie requested that he document a date with her and make it seem as though he was genuinely interested, as she was unable to find any suitable matches through online dating. She was concerned that her appearances on 90 Day: The Single Life would be edited out if she failed to form a romantic connection.
“Debbie’s message to Ruben expressed her need for someone who is at least somewhat presentable, as she was aware of the abundance of fake profiles. She requested Ruben’s help in finding a suitable candidate, even considering him as a potential option for the reality show.”
The reality show personality of 90 Day Fiancé assured Ruben that it would be a beneficial chance, and acknowledged that she required her 15 minutes of fame in order to advertise her upcoming studio for creative arts therapy.
Ruben agreed to film and also suggested that they keep the information confidential between the two of them. He also mentioned that he saw this as a great opportunity to improve his job prospects. At the moment, he is working on remote projects, which allows him to attend his mother’s doctor appointments and chemotherapy sessions.
Debbie not only provided Ruben with a contact for one of the show’s producers, but also advised him to use his charm to impress her. She inquired about his present employment status, to which he responded by sending his LinkedIn profile and details about a charitable organization he is actively involved in.
Despite appearing genuine on 90 Day: The Single Life, viewers may have concerns about Debbie and Ruben’s relationship upon learning that it was contrived for the sake of the show’s storyline.
