Despite enduring a long visa journey on 90 Day Fiancé, Rachel Bear and her husband Jon Walters’ relationship has been forever altered by a tragic update.
Rachel Bear and Jon Walters were featured on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, as she traveled from the US to England to meet him for the first time.
Despite getting married in England in 2018, Jon’s visa approval was delayed due to his criminal charges for physical violence.
For years, Rachel has been in a long-distance relationship with Jon and has been determined to bring him to the US to reunite with his wife and her daughter, Lucy.
On May 7, Rachel posted a devastating update on Jon’s visa process on her Instagram account. She expressed her disappointment and shared that it was not the update or outcome they had hoped for.
Even the strongest of couples can struggle with the challenges of long distance relationships. Despite our determination and perseverance over the course of seven years, the constant separation and extended periods apart have gradually worn us down.
“Rachel sadly informed us that we have grown too distant from each other. After much consideration, we have decided to not continue our relationship. This marks the end of our visa journey and it was a difficult decision for us to make.”
The 90 Day Fiancé star requested that fans respect her family’s privacy as they acclimate to their new reality. She expressed her gratitude to those who have supported their journey and remained engaged over the course of several years.
As Rachel anticipated the next chapter of her life, she reassured her followers that she will still be sharing updates about her journey on social media. Even though this means the end of her relationship with her partner, they no longer have to wait for a visa to be approved.
