On August 17th, the post titled, “Which celebrities are likely to enlist soon?” was uploaded to the Instagram account izitmag, grabbing people’s attention.
The magazine reported that Jeonghan from SEVENTEEN is expected to enlist in the second half of this year. In anticipation of the potential enlistment of male idols and actors in 2025, the magazine compiled a list which includes three other SEVENTEEN members (Wonwoo, Hoshi, Woozi), NCT’s Doyoung, Kang Daniel, and actor Kim Young-dae.
It is true that they were all born in 1996, making 2025 the appropriate time for them to enlist.
Upon learning that four members of SEVENTEEN will be enlisting in the military next year, fans have taken to the comment section to express their regret. Some have left comments such as “SEVENTEEN… Please don’t go,”and “It’s almost half of the group… Can’t they avoid sending them there?”Others have specifically addressed members Wonwoo and Woozi, asking where they will be going. Fans of NCT and Kang Daniel are also sharing in the upset.
In recent news, Pledis Entertainment, the agency of SEVENTEEN, has disclosed that Jeonghan, a member of the group, will be enlisting by the end of the year. The exact date of his enlistment, however, has yet to be confirmed.
