The most recent chart from Japan’s Oricon, released on July 27th, reported that SEVENTEEN’s best album “17 IS RIGHT HERE”sold 25,211 copies on that day, securing the top spot on the daily album ranking.
Presently, the only K-pop album of the year to achieve the “triple million seller”milestone is “17 IS RIGHT HERE.”Released on April 29 (with a Japan release on April 30), it quickly dominated the top spot on major Oricon album charts.
In addition, it secured the top spot on Billboard Japan’s “2024 Mid-Year Chart (November 27, 2023 – May 26, 2024)”for the most comprehensive album ranking, “Hot Albums,”making it the highest-ranking K-pop artist and placing second overall.
The enduring success of SEVENTEEN can be observed as they prepare for their upcoming global activities. They are scheduled to kick off their “SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR”in October, which will include performances in Asia, including Korea and Japan, as well as the United States.
The Olympiastadion Berlin in Germany will host the “Lollapalooza Berlin”in September, where the band will headline their performance.
During their recent fan meeting, SEVENTEEN’s increasing popularity was once again proven.
