The focus in chapter 43 of Kagurabachi changes to Kyora Sazanami, who reflects on the words of his deceased wife. She expressed her desire for Kyora to put an end to the Rakuzaichi auction, as she believed her husband and other members of the Sazanami family had been influenced by the “sacred tradition.”

She believed that if Rakuzaichi didn’t exist, Kyora might have been a little more human. In addition to his wife’s memories, the sorcerer also recalls the moment when his father had given him the responsibility of Rakuzaichi.
