Oshi no Ko Chapter 158: A Shocking Throwback You Won’t Want to Miss

Oshi no Ko Chapter 158: A Shocking Throwback You Won’t Want to Miss

Chapter 158 of Oshi no Ko contains an incredibly surprising scene, which has left readers in disbelief since the death of Ai Hoshino.

As Oshi no Ko reaches its final arc, we anticipate a shift towards a more serious tone. In the previous storyline, we witnessed pivotal moments such as Aqua standing up to Ruby and her father, as well as the reveal of the ultimate antagonist of the series.

Despite initial expectations, the story took a dark turn. In Chapter 158 of Oshi no Ko, titled ‘Jewel,’ we see B-Komachi’s success in a performance in Miyazaki, showcasing Ruby’s talent as an idol.

However, little did she know, Nino is actually in the audience. Overwhelmed with hatred and jealousy, she watches as Ruby outshines Ai. Due to her unhealthy fixation on the late idol, she believes that no one should ever outshine Ai.

Despite Nino’s plan to eliminate Ruby, she contacts Hikaru in hopes of arranging for the young Hoshino’s death. However, Hikaru refuses and urges her to turn herself in to the authorities, just as he intends to do. Despite this, Nino is determined to carry out her plan and commits yet another crime.

In the final moments of Oshi no Ko Chapter 158, Ruby is greeted by a stranger who proceeds to stab her, mirroring Ai’s tragic murder. This unexpected throwback to a previous violent scene is one of the most brutal moments in the series.

The latest chapter of Oshi no Ko has left the fandom in disarray. A fan took to X to express their thoughts, writing, “I’m not sure where the Oshi No Ko manga is headed after Chapter 158 – it’s bringing back some serious PTSD.”

“Another user commented, expressing their desire to understand the reason behind the situation, while a third individual stated, “I refuse to believe it.”

“Another user expressed that Aqua’s guilt complex had been completely overcome, and he now had the potential to save his salvation. The comment was made in response to a post by ChibiReviews.”

Hopefully, Chapter 159 will reveal whether Ruby will survive the attack. It will also be intriguing to witness Aqua’s reaction to his twin sister being involved in the attack.
