How To Play

Despite appearing more complex than other word-based daily brainteasers, Waffle is actually quite enjoyable and straightforward to play once you become familiar with the challenge.

The waffle-shaped grid of letters will be scrambled, and it will contain six words for you to solve. The colors are also important: a green tile indicates that the letter is already in the correct position, a yellow tile means it needs to be rearranged within the same word, and a grey tile means it is not part of the current word.

Each game allows for a maximum of fifteen moves, therefore it is important to strategize and efficiently unscramble the words. Every unused move when the words are correctly unscrambled earns you a star.

It is possible to solve any game in at least ten moves. However, if you use all fifteen moves and still do not complete the game, you have not completed the day’s challenge quickly enough. If this happens, do not worry and instead use what you have learned to tackle the puzzle for the following day.
