A Baldur’s Gate 3 player gave a helpful tip on how to get important cutscenes without having to use Long Rest supplies.
Much of the story in Baldur’s Gate 3 is presented through cutscenes in the characters’ camps. However, to see them, you usually have to take a Long Rest.
The problem is that taking Long Rests requires players to use Camp Supplies. This can be complicated because these are precious commodities. And towards the end of the game, players need to rest to fully heal.
Luckily, a Baldur’s Gate 3 fan has shared an important tip on how to trigger these cutscenes without having to dip into Camp Supplies.
Baldur’s Gate 3 player shares tip for watching cutscenes during Long Rests
In a Reddit post, player u/looper1010 made a humorous reference to the Long Rest after being bombarded with cutscenes. a>
Titled “So I learned all the content of long rests…” , the post refers to the feeling of being overwhelmed by the things presented to them.
So I learned about all the content from long rests… byu/looper1010 inBaldursGate3
Although the focus of the post was this joke, the really important part came in the comments. Another fan explained how to do it. He said: “If you do one rest after another just for cutscenes, you can do partial rests. They don’t cost provisions.”
This advice was well received: “That’s good to know! Because I want content but then I lack provisions lol.”
However, there is a downside to this advice. Players have pointed out that there may be time-sensitive quests going on. They would then suffer from repeated Rests.
To avoid this, the Baldur’s Gate 3 community recommended keeping an eye out for time-sensitive quests in the log.
So this tip should help a lot of players, as the comments show. Users afraid of using their Camp Supplies for a Long Rest have spoken out. One said: “Why do I need 96 potatoes, 75 apples and 58 cloves of garlic? That’s why “.
Hopefully this can help many players get the Rest they need without missing out on content. And above all, without having to give up all these resources in Baldur’s Gate 3.
