A commonality amongst One Piece’s Ds may signify how the series’ world will look in the end

One Piece is filled with many plot points that have yet to be resolved, including the significance of the D clan. Bearing the initial “D.”in their full names links together various characters, such as the protagonist Luffy and the antagonist Blackbeard, all of whom are destined to play crucial roles in shaping the events of the world.

The recent One Piece theory suggests something that has been discussed for years – the possibility that Luffy and his companions will destroy the Red Line and unite all the seas. This event could not only mark the end of Luffy’s journey, but also tie into the history of Joy Boy and the Ancient Kingdom.

Please note that this article contains spoilers for the series.

Explaining the process of destroying the Red Line by the D clan in One Piece

According to this theory, the D. Clan held a desire many centuries ago to establish a world where individuals’ aspirations could be fulfilled. However, they faced numerous obstacles in realizing this goal, including interference from the World Government and the challenges of everyday life. This was the era when Joy Boy emerged, with the support of the Ancient Kingdom’s people, to initiate positive change in the world.

It is possible that Joy Boy may have been responsible for the creation of Devil Fruits, using them as a means to grant people their desires. This theory aligns with Dr. Vegapunk’s explanation of their origins during the Egghead arc. However, the World Government, under the leadership of Imu, is believed to have ultimately defeated Joy Boy and potentially destroyed the Ancient Kingdom during the Void Century.

As the D. Clan makes a comeback, Luffy and Blackbeard have taken on the role of leaders, carrying on the legacy and aspirations of Gol D. Roger from years past. According to this theory, the conclusion of the series will see Luffy destroying the Red Line, uniting the oceans and creating an All Blue, a dream long sought after by Sanji. This merging would represent the manifestation of a world where dreams can become reality.

The challenges of the ending

A prime illustration of this is found in the aforementioned D. Clan, the mysterious Void Century, the fate of the Ancient Kingdom, and their eventual connection to Luffy.

Moreover, there are various other factors that require consideration, including the identity and origins of Imu, the intentions of the World Government, the danger posed by Blackbeard, and even Shanks’ point of view on matters.

Concluding Remarks

It is highly likely that centuries ago, the D. Clan had a strong desire to transform the world and aid individuals in attaining their aspirations, but their plans were thwarted by the World Government. This implies that Luffy may have the power to break through the Grand Line and merge all the seas into one in One Piece.
