The newly launched Koumei frame in Warframe features an exciting primary weapon known as the Higasa, which includes a shield capable of blocking incoming shots and converting them into a beam that damages foes. Below, we explain how to obtain the Higasa in Warframe.
How to Unlock Higasa in Warframe
You can acquire the Higasa through gameplay by completing the Saya’s Visions mission and purchasing the blueprints using Fate Pearls. Alternatively, it can be obtained directly from the Market for 245 Platinum.
To access the mission, speak with Saya located on Cetus, Earth, and activate it at the Koumei Shrine under Saya’s Visions. Players must finish the Once Awake and Saya’s Vigil quests before this option becomes available.
The Saya’s Visions mission tasks players with defending zones against Infested enemies that spawn Offerings for the Koumei Shrine. Once five Offerings are delivered, the Infested Oni boss will appear.
Upon defeating the boss, you’ll complete the mission, earning 14-18 Fate Pearls on normal difficulty and 20-24 on Steel Path difficulty. The boss may also drop one of the weapon blueprints or its components. The Fate Pearls can be exchanged at the Koumei Shrine for the following blueprints:
- Higasa Blueprint – 135 Fate Pearls
- Higasa Barrel Blueprint – 45 Fate Pearls
- Higasa Receiver Blueprint – 45 Fate Pearls
- Higasa Stock Blueprint – 45 Fate Pearls
Higasa Crafting Requirements in Warframe
Once you have acquired the blueprints from the Koumei Shrine in Cetus, you will need to construct the parts and the weapon at the Foundry on your ship. Crafting the components and the weapon will take several hours, unless you expedite the process with Platinum. Below are the comprehensive crafting requirements for the Higasa:
