When Arachnophobia mode is active, spiders will be replaced by an image of a kitty, making their monstrous appearance much cuter. While this png replacement might seem awkward as the kitties dash toward you, the effect adds a humorous twist to the game.

Some players may find this approach a bit lazy, but it adds a unique and funny element to the game. The added meows as the cats approach just perfect this entertaining experience.

You may notice that spiders come in various sizes. While all spiders are still present, distinguishing the tougher ones from the weaker ones becomes challenging since they are all represented as cats. However, different cat images correspond to each spider type or size, which might take some time to adjust to, especially for players accustomed to using ranged weapons like rifles, as their hitboxes may appear unusual when aiming.

If you find it difficult to contend with these cat versions of spiders, using a Jetpack allows you to fly above them, giving you ample time to aim and shoot safely.
