A Comprehensive History of LCK Champions: Teams and Players Who Triumphed

The LCK is South Korea’s premier professional league, boasting the best League of Legends players in the world. This article provides a comprehensive history of every player and team that has clinched an LCK title.

As the most successful region in terms of Worlds titles, the LCK is widely regarded as the best in the global esports scene. Teams from around the world travel to South Korea for exceptional practice opportunities in both solo queue and scrims.

Yet, the LCK is characterized by a significant skill disparity between its top and bottom teams. Historically, only a few teams have dominated the domestic scene. Recently, however, Hanwha Life Esports broke this trend by winning the LCK Summer 2024 title in a historic first for the organization.

Currently, no players from outside South Korea have won a tournament in the region. Moreover, there are no non-Korean players competing in the league at this time. While there were rumors that jojopyun might join an LCK team, he instead moved to Cloud9.
