Later, Hinase Hotaru creates a “Bucket List”and gifts it to Saki, asking him to add his own desires to the list. Saki expresses his wish to hold hands with Hotaru while walking. Without hesitation, Hotaru agrees and they proceed to fulfill their wish. That night, Saki gazes at their interlocked hands and ponders deeply. It is then revealed that his greatest desire is to spend more time with Hotaru.
After that, the episode fast-forwards to the near Christmas season. However, Hinase Hotaru remains unaffected by any romantic feelings towards Saki. She confides in her friends, who suggest that she try kissing him to see if it sparks any feelings.
Later on in the day, Saki Hananoi extends an invitation for Hotaru to come over to his house. During their visit, Hotaru admits her uncertainty about their relationship and requests for Saki to kiss her, hoping to determine her true feelings towards him.
