For viewers in certain regions, A Condition Called Love episode 6 is available for streaming on Netflix and Bilbili Global and Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel, in addition to Crunchyroll.

A Recap of Episode 5 of the Series A Condition Called Love

The episode opens with Hinase Hotaru’s colleague, Satomura, requesting her help in arranging a meeting with Saki Hananoi as she wishes to befriend him. Hinase confides in her best friend, Hibiki, who suspects that Satomura may have hidden intentions behind her request.

During their discussion, Hibiki mentions Saki’s popularity among girls. However, Hinase notices that she has never seen Saki’s boyfriend spending time with his friends. Curious, Hinase asks the boy during lunch if he would be interested in making some new friends.

Despite Hibiki’s request, Saki tells him that she is unable to expend her emotions on anyone other than those she deeply cares for. In addition, Hinase turns to her older sister for guidance on Satomura’s proposal, to which she reveals that she must make difficult decisions in order to navigate through life without causing harm to others. Therefore, she must carefully determine who she prioritizes.

The following day, while at school, Saki and Hinase manage to sneak up to the roof but end up getting locked in. Upon sending an S.O.S message to their friends, Hinase and Saki share a touching moment where Hinase begins to come to terms with her feelings for the boy.

After revealing the truth about Satomura to Saki, Hinase breathes a sigh of relief when Saki tells her that she can reject him. However, in a later episode, it is revealed that Satomura’s interest in Saki was not romantic. Instead, she simply wanted to meet him because he resembled her favorite idol.

In the following scene, we witness Saki and Hinase’s enjoyable movie date. As they make their way back home, they take a moment to visit the same park where Hinase had previously given Saki the umbrella.

As their conversation continues, Hinase learns that Saki has been making sacrifices to please others, only to be abandoned by them later. However, Saki insists that she does not share the same perspective.

Despite her initial hesitation, she cherishes every moment spent with him. Overcome with emotions, she comes close to confessing her love to the boy. As the episode comes to an end, Hinase Hotaru thinks back on her conversation with Saki and gradually realizes the depth of her feelings.
