The chapter begins with a scene in which the First-years discuss the moments when they first became interested in Bakugou and Shoto, such as during the sports festival or the war. However, Iida interjects and advises them against constantly following the two boys, reminding them that they are still recovering from the recent war. The Girls apologize for their behavior.

Shiro discusses his belief that Bakugou enjoyed attention. Sero agrees, stating that the amount of attention they received was excessive. Kaminari expresses envy towards this. Deku adds that the girls have always paid no attention to Bakugou, leading him to be unfamiliar with this kind of situation. Shinso is taken aback by this, but Mineta disagrees.

A young first-year boy shares his admiration for Deku’s fighting skills during the war, expressing his desire to be just like him. This leaves Deku feeling unsure of how to respond, as it brings back memories of Spinner’s expression. Ochako observes all of this with a curious expression on her face.

The manga then shifts to the Teachers’ room, where Mic discusses 2-A receiving another interview request. However, Aizawa turns it down despite Ectoplasm’s suggestion that students like Mineta may want the attention. Aizawa clarifies that not all students desire the spotlight and he wishes to honor their preferences.

The panel displays the students being sent to a reconstruction site, where they are tasked with working alongside Fat, Jeanist, and Edgeshot. As they begin to clear the debris, Bakugou inquires of Edgeshot if he intends to remain in his current form. Edgeshot assures him not to be concerned, as he still possesses his small thread-like hands.

Bakugou inquires if Edgeshot plans to stay the same, to which Edgeshot responds that he aims to surpass his previous self, causing Bakugou to grin.

Life After War

The civilians generously provide food to the heroes, as one of them shares about his plantation that was destroyed during the war. Deku expresses his regret, but the civilian clarifies that he was not blaming the heroes. Instead, he was inspired by their bravery and determination in battle.

Despite wanting to contribute on their own, the civilians were grateful for the heroes’ help in cleaning and provided them with food. The heroes, in turn, expressed their gratitude and assured the civilians that they would finish the cleaning today.

The arrival of the Cementoss’ Class bus leaves Aizawa feeling perplexed. Cementoss explains that the first years wished to apologize for the chaos and debris they had caused. The boy, who holds Deku in high regard, expresses their desire to assist despite being new to the school and not yet having their license.

The civilians are intrigued by how the efforts are impacting others. Ochako expresses her relief in seeing everyone’s optimistic attitudes. Deku and Tsuya appear concerned, causing Ochako to quickly leave and gather more food.

Despite putting on a fake smile, Ochako can be seen eating an onigiri. A close up of Deku’s face is also shown. The students are not required to remain in the dorms. Tsuyu mentions that Ochako has not replied to any messages since she returned home.

A flashback is depicted of the reporter’s camera losing battery power at the precise moment the Twice clones disappeared, accompanied by a voiceover from Ochako. In her narration, she mentions that on that fateful day, their final verdict was not captured on camera. Ochako can be seen observing from the hill, as seen in Chapter 342.

She expresses relief that the battle is finally over and that life has returned to its usual state, which she considers a positive outcome. She strives to maintain an optimistic mindset and finds joy in seeing others smile. Despite her desire to keep up the positive atmosphere, thoughts of Toga, who had both tears and a smile on her face, forces her to push down her own pain. She places a hand on her stomach, deep in thought, and tears start to fall. Suddenly, Deku appears, calling her name and bringing an end to the chapter.
