Although Shadow of the Erdtree features a plethora of new locations, some may not have a significant impact on the plot. Instead, these areas serve as bonuses for players, offering collectibles like Ruins. Within these locations, hidden treasures such as weapons, armor, and Furnace Golems can be discovered.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree features a total of four Ruins:
- Moorth Ruins
- Temple Town Ruins
- Scorched Ruins
- Ruins of Unte
Moorth Ruins
Start at the Grace Highroad Cross Site. Proceed on the road heading in a northern direction until you come to a junction. Turn onto the path on your right.
As you make your way, you may encounter some Messmer Soldiers and Black Knights. Keep moving forward until you reach the Moorth Ruins.

Temple Town Ruins
Begin at the Moorth Ruins and proceed in a northeasterly direction. Keep an eye out for a cave along the river. Once inside, continue until you come across a group of Gravebirds. Walk cautiously along the left wall and head towards the west. Before long, you will reach a Site of Grace directly in front of you. From there, the Temple Town Ruins can be found to the southwest.

Scorched Ruins
Proceed northeast on Torrent at the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace.
During your journey, you will come across a stone statue. Be cautious, as a Curseblade may appear and initiate a battle. Once you have defeated the creature, search for a dilapidated structure in the distance. This is known as the Scorched Ruins.

Ruins of Unte
Begin at the Site of Grace located on the first floor of Storehouse. Descend in the elevator and defeat the Fire Knight guarding the area. Then, descend the ladder to cross the bridge and enter the waterfall beside it.
Another ladder is necessary to access a room with a false wall. Once you pass through it, you will come across a stone coffin directly ahead of you. Interact with the coffin to be transported to the Recluses River in Scadu Altus. From there, head east to reach your desired location.
There are a pair of Furnace Golems present. Overcome them in order to receive rewards.
