A Guide to Summoning Additional Echoes in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Echoes are a vital component of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. While Zelda wields traditional weapons like Link’s sword and bow, these are only temporary solutions. Her primary attack, defense, and exploration tactics come from Echoes. However, initially, you can only summon a limited number of Echoes. This guide explains how to summon more Echoes in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

How to Get More Echoes in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

To summon additional Echoes, clear the rifts found in Echoes of Wisdom. When you successfully close a Rift, Tri, Zelda’s companion, gains experience points. Leveling up sometimes enhances Tri’s ability to summon more Echoes simultaneously, and in other instances, it lowers the Echo cost.

Across the land of Hyrule, you will find deep purple Rifts in Echoes of Wisdom. These Rifts act as portals to another dimension known as the Still World. To increase your Echoes, you must venture into these Rifts and seal them.

As you advance in the storyline, several Rifts will be naturally completed, particularly before you tackle each dungeon, such as the Suthorn Ruins dungeon. There are also smaller Rifts that are optional. If your goal is to level up Tri and maximize the number of Echoes you can summon, prioritize closing both smaller and larger Rifts. Look for large purple voids on your map to locate these Rifts.

To enter a Rift, scan the edges until you spot a small yellow dot. Interact with it so that Tri can transform it into a portal for you to jump into.

How Do Echoes Work in Echoes of Wisdom?

Tri has a tail made up of triangles that follow it wherever it moves. The number of triangles in Tri’s tail determines how many Echoes you can summon at the same time. The more triangles Tri possesses, the more Echoes are available for summoning.

Each type of Echo has a unique cost. Most exploration Echoes will only require one triangle, allowing multiple summons. However, more powerful Echoes, such as Lynels or Darknuts, may cost three or more triangles to summon.
