Gather all Sk8 the Infinity fans as your beloved characters are approaching their return. The voice actors revealed the second We8 the Infinity OVA visual during a special Instagram live event in honor of the protagonist, Reki’s, birthday.
In January 2024, the OVA released the first visual of Kaoru Sakurayashiki (Cherry Blossom) and Kojiro Nanjo (Joe). In addition, it was announced that season 1 of the anime would be rebroadcasted in October 2024.

The second scene in the We8 the Infinity OVA highlights two other popular characters from the series, namely Shindo Ainosuke (Adam) and Kikuchi Tadashi (Snake).
As always, Shindo appears sharp in his elegant suit while sipping on a steaming cup of tea in his picturesque garden. In contrast, his despondent secretary, Tadashi, is lying in bed.

The return of all the main staff and voice actors from the first season had been previously confirmed for this special episode. The OVA episode, which was announced in August 2022 along with the confirmation of a second season, does not yet have a confirmed release date. While there is no official storyline revealed for the OVA, we can make speculations based on the two visuals that have been released thus far.
The initial image featuring Kaoru Sakurayashiki and Kojiro Nanjo is anticipated to offer us a sneak peek into their tumultuous high school experience. Despite the passing years, the two childhood companions seem to have remained unchanged, still enjoying getting under each other’s skin as they did in the past.
The second image featuring Adam and Snake hints at delving further into the background of the main villain and his loyal secretary. Fans will have to be patient and wait for the OVA and second season of their beloved anime.

The original anime “SK8 the Infinity”by Studio Bones will premiere in Winter 2021.
Reki, a second-year high school student, is passionate about skateboarding in the anime. He becomes involved in an underground skateboard race called “S”at an abandoned mine, which is known for being dangerous and having no rules.
The storyline centers around competitors who are involved in the “youth skateboard race battle,”including corrupt racers, artificial intelligence racers, and other captivating characters.
