The official staff of the upcoming anime “A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero”confirmed that it will premiere on July 6, 2024. This announcement was made on the official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, June 10, 2024. Along with the premiere date, the staff also revealed the names of three additional cast members for the series.
Since July 2021, Hobby Japan has been publishing the light novels in a series, with eight volumes released under the HJ Bunko imprint.
A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero Anime Debuts on July 6, 2024

The decision has been made to broadcast episodes of the A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero anime every Saturday at 10 PM JST, beginning on July 6, 2024, on Tokyo MX. It will also be accessible on BS11 Nippon Television at 10:30 PM JST on the same date.
Moreover, Japanese viewers have the opportunity to catch the anime on TV Nagasaki, with weekly broadcasts every Friday at 1:03 AM JST, beginning on July 12, 2024. A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero: Staff and Plot Summary
Tomoki Kobayashi, known for his work on Akame ga KILL! and other popular titles, is at the helm of the series at Gekko Studios, with Starry Cube serving as the producer. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is responsible for the series’ scripts, and Shoko Yasuda has been brought on as the character designer. The anime’s team has also welcomed Keiji Inai as the composer for the music.
The anime adaptation of A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero is based on the light novels and revolves around Kaito Takagi, a high school student who works as an explorer. His job is to hunt down slimes in the dungeons that appear in Japan, earning him money.
One day, Kaito is bestowed with a valuable item known as the servant card by a golden slime. This card gives him the ability to summon mythical creatures. Filled with curiosity, Kaito uses the card to summon a valkyrie, a warrior maiden. This marks the start of Kaito’s transformation from a regular high school student to a heroic figure.
