A developer from Fortnite Creative introduced Palworld mode gameplay through a survival and shooting mode.
Palworld is one of the hottest games in 2024. It recently surpassed 19 million players with over 12 million downloads on Steam and 7 million on Xbox.
With the growing popularity of Palworld in the gaming world, a Fortnite creator named Tom Jank made it his mission to bring a taste of Palworld to Epic Games’ game.
Fortnite’s Creative has changed the way players explore the world by allowing creators to design custom maps, islands, and more.
Palworld is coming to Fortnite Creative
Jank used Fortnite’s dinos to resemble Palworld’s Pals, which take a form similar to Pokémon. These dinos, of different colors, will rush towards the player on the Creative Island. The player’s objective is to shoot the ‘Pals’ and survive as many waves as possible.
Palworld in Fortnite?!?Nah, I wouldn’t actually use that as a map name cause that would be IP theft.#UEFN Morning Warmup: wanted to spend the morning learning about IK retargetting and the npc device, very fun! How many dinos do you think you could survive? pic.twitter.com/tSvK3XraaZ

“Palworld in Fortnite,” asks Jank. “Nah, I wouldn’t actually use that as a card name, because that would be intellectual property theft. Morning warm-up: I wanted to spend the morning learning IK retargeting and the NPC device; very funny! How many dinos do you think you can survive?”
Jank claims that the map was primarily created using Unreal Engine, like many other maps in this mode. However, no island codes have yet been provided for players to jump in and play for themselves.
Comments below the post asked questions about the Island’s individual mechanics and made suggestions on what could potentially improve the experience. But Jank has not commented on any upcoming updates for this map.
