A Quiet Place Video Game to Introduce Most Immersive Horror Features Ever

A Quiet Place stands out as one of the most innovative and thrilling horror films released in recent years.

For those who might not be familiar, A Quiet Place debuted in 2018, featuring John Krasinski, who also took on directing duties, alongside his real-life and on-screen partner, Emily Blunt.

The film follows the journey of Lee and Evelyn Abbott, portrayed by Krasinski and Blunt, as they navigate a world where silence is vital for survival. A horde of deadly creatures has ravaged the United States, hunting down anyone who dares to make a sound.

Since its initial release, the franchise has expanded with two additional films, and in October 2024, it will welcome a new addition in the form of a video game titled A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.

While the premise of the movies lays a perfect groundwork for a chilling gaming experience to enjoy this Halloween, Stormind has introduced an additional feature that heightens the tension: microphone noise detection.

Even the slightest sound, like an errant breath, can draw the attention of these terrifying creatures and turn your existence into a nightmare.

However, for those who are easily startled, this setting can be easily toggled on or off, allowing players to enjoy the game without the fear of being hunted if their surroundings are too noisy or if the eerie atmosphere becomes overwhelming.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is set to launch on October 17, 2024, focusing on a young woman’s struggle for survival in a world devastated by an alien invasion that has decimated most of humanity.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but there is currently no word on whether it will be released for last-generation consoles or the Nintendo Switch.
