The first episode of the season started in the Ofim Empire Territory, at the castle of the former Demon Lord, where Princess Sara da Odin and Livia were being attacked by rebels. Livia made the brave decision to distract the pursuers while Sara made her escape through a portal to a different realm.

The scene shifted to Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, where 29-year-old detective Sosuke Kaburaya was following a man named Koni Takemoto. Out of nowhere, Sara landed on him, disrupting his surveillance. However, she used her magical abilities to heal a wound on Sosuke’s hand and then showcased her other powers by creating a large explosion in a nearby park. This caused Sosuke to panic and he quickly brought her back to his home.

Livia successfully defeated the rebels at the Demon Lord’s Castle and then immediately used a portal to arrive in Gifu City. However, when she tried to gather information from the locals, they were afraid of her due to her blood-drenched appearance. In order to clean up and replenish her energy, she made her way to the Nagara River where she bathed, caught some fish, and cooked them for a satisfying meal. Eventually, the rain began to pour and she sought shelter at a nearby shanty belonging to a homeless man named Suzuki.

In the meantime, Sosuke was uncertain about how to handle Sara’s presence, but he agreed to let her stay at his place for one night. Sara informed him that she would erase his memories before leaving, but this could potentially erase up to a year’s worth of memories or even render him incapacitated. Feeling horrified, Sosuke ultimately agreed to let her stay for however long she needed.

Despite quickly adapting to the Japanese way of life, Sara remained unsatisfied with the meals. She suggested assisting Sosuke with his detective work in order to increase his earnings, but he declined.

While tailing Koni Takemoto, Sosuke arrived at an abandoned warehouse where he discovered his suspect being blackmailed by a group of four individuals. As the assailants began to physically harm him, Sosuke stepped in to intervene. Sara, who had been covertly following Sosuke, also appeared and utilized her magical abilities. Together, they successfully defeated the blackmailers.

That evening, they savored a delicious dinner of Hida-gyu. Afterwards, Sosuke requested that Sara refrain from aiding him in future cases, deeming it unsuitable for a young girl. However, Sara persisted, arguing that her assistance could potentially increase their income and enhance their meals.
