A Starfield player is surprised to discover a new location after 850 hours of play

Starfield delivers on its promises as players still discover new places to explore after hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Bethesda is no stranger to massive open worlds, but integrating an entire galaxy into Starfield made this their biggest game yet. The space RPG is full of things to do, from building beautiful outposts to designing incredible spaceships.

Even six months after the game’s release, Starfield players are still discovering new things in its sprawling galaxy. And it’s not just new players jumping in after the latest update.

Reddit user u/Constellation_XI, who has logged over 850 hours in Starfield, was shocked to recently discover a new location in the game. It appears to be a first for others as well.

Somehow after 850+ hours I just now found the Trade Authority Space Station in the orbit of Prax… Cool mission, reminds me of the Casino. byu/Constellation_XI inStarfield

The location in question is the Trade Authority Space Station which orbits the planet Prax. Like most Starfield space stations, it’s a massive interior space with multiple levels and NPCs and even has its own self-contained story.

The coolest thing about this particular space station is that you can explore it in zero gravity. If you’re brave enough, you can even aggro the spacemen inside for an open-air fight.

“It constantly amazes me how many things in this game I haven’t discovered yet,” responded one explorer who had not docked on this particular space station. “I didn’t know this existed,” replied another. “I guess I know where to go next once the next DLC comes out.”

Other players, seasoned star travelers, have taken the time to praise Starfield’s space stations for being particularly captivating locations. “There should be many more space stations. These are some of the coolest locations in the game,” said one user.

For those of you on PC who want more space stations in Starfield, there is a mod where you can build your own.

It was apparently built using an unfinished feature that was removed from the game before launch. Since the files are still present in the game, we might see its official addition to Starfield in the future.
