An interior design enthusiast and Starfield player shares his favorite role-playing game that deserves to “win an award” .
Even before landing on PC and Xbox platforms, Bethesda’s space RPG received endless praise for its aesthetic and design. Indeed, Starfield ‘s “NASA punk”theme captured the attention of the general public, as it managed to capture the allure of the Golden Age of space exploration.
It seems then that everything from the spacesuit designs to the user interface and landscapes were given the utmost care during production. But some fans think one aspect of Starfield doesn’t get as much love as it deserves.
Starfield player shares his favorite RPG bathroom design
According to Reddit user Mattgyverco, the design of the bathrooms in BGS’ latest game “should win an award.”The player, who happens to be a fan of interior design, seems particularly impressed because bathrooms are rarely considered in the game.
The Starfield fan was so taken with the game’s toilets that he took at least 100 shots of them throughout the game. So, he shared some of his favorite bathroom screenshots.

As the 20 screenshots above prove, the game does indeed offer an incredible variety of bathroom design aesthetics. Some seem particularly luxurious. Conversely, many public toilets appear to have been used a little too often. But they are all overflowing with details.
When asked about his interest in this particular design topic, the Starfield player explained: “I’m just a fan of interior design and Starfield has it all. A game designer found himself with the toilet task and probably thought ‘…I’ll show them. I’m going to impress them all!’ “.
Others also joined in appreciating the toilets. One user wrote, wryly: “I’m glad they spent so much time designing the bathrooms well…”.
But even those who applauded studio Starfield’s efforts were quick to point out some more questionable design choices. One review says: “The design of the bathrooms is beautiful. The location of bathrooms is ridiculous in a lot of houses.”
Someone else questioned the repeated use of certain artistic elements. “But the same graffiti and the same mirrors across multiple systems is a bit lazy.”
