Warzone players have discovered that Urzikstan’s secret bunkers have started to open after the Season 2 update, announcing a potential Zombies event coming to the game.
Warzone Season 2 brought many new features that players continue to discover and explore. This includes the return of the map, Fortune’s Keep, several weapon buffs and nerfs as well as new weapons, the RAM-9 and the BP50.
Additionally, the developers have introduced numerous easter eggs on the Fortune’s Keep map, allowing players to obtain exclusive rewards.
However, Battle Royale players have also discovered that one of the hidden bunkers on Urzikstan is now open, allowing them to enter and see a teaser for a potential Zombies event.
Potential Zombies event discovered in Warzone
Indeed, some Warzone players have noticed that Bunker 5 on Urzikstan is no longer locked, allowing entry without requiring an access card or code. As shown in the video below, inside this bunker players will find nine stasis pods filled with Zombies.

While this bunker doesn’t involve a complex easter egg or offer special loot, players believe it’s just the start of a longer process that could be Zombie-related.
Unfortunately, despite the association with Zombies, they also noticed that Bunker 5 is only open in Battle Royale and not in Zombies mode.
Veteran Warzone players will certainly remember Verdansk’s easter eggs which also involved different bunkers scattered across the map. Additionally, the first iteration of the game also received a Zombies event where the undead had taken over different locations on the map.
While the reason why this bunker was opened remains unknown, players are already preparing to fight Zombies again in the game. With this being just the first step, we will have to wait and see how this Zombies bunker teaser plays out.
