A stunning image showcasing the prominent character has been revealed by the company at Anime NYC 2024. The character in question is Lucas Maphaahl, portrayed in all her grandeur.
The visual also hints at the raw aura of this MMO character and her awakening as the line between reality and the virtual world becomes blurred.
Synopsis of the Upcoming Anime
In the year 2800, Lufas Maphaahl was a formidable presence. Known for her beauty, ferocity, and success as the leader of the Twelve Heavenly Stars, she was a force to be reckoned with. Despite her fame, her reign was short-lived as she ultimately faced defeat at the hands of the heroes.
The perspective then shifts to the protagonist, who plays as the MMO character Lufas within the game. Upon awakening in the body of his in-game avatar, 200 years have passed since Lufas’s defeat in the Exgate Online game. Now, it is his responsibility to navigate this unfamiliar world, form new alliances, and bear the burden of Lufas’s legacy.

The novel “A Wild Last Boss Appeared!”was first published on the novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō and was later acquired by Earth Star Entertainment, who released it under their Earth Star Novel Imprint.
Lufas Maphaahl, also known as the Black-Winged Tyrant and Great Conqueror, once ruled the world with an iron fist as the leader of the Twelve Heavenly Stars. However, after her defeat during a player-made event in the game Exgate Online, a man wakes up 200 years later in the body of his MMO character. Now trapped in her form, he sets out on a journey through the world of Exgate, searching for answers, allies, and the new threats that have arisen since her downfall.
